I come to Wrongplanet.net in the middle of a really psychotic horrible mood to get away from all the normal crap, and the first thing I see is "Is there a god?"

Of course there isn't. And shame on you for starting a thread that will inevitably start a religious debate.

I still play Super Mario 64, almost everyday, on my Nintendo 64. I used to and still do kick ass at it. The control's are fine. The graphics are beautiful. It's not realism. It's retro 64 jagged polygons with vibrant colors and rainbows. If you aren't charmed at least a little, you're not a real gam...

I can read clocks, but it takes a moment. I can't just look and know semi-instantly, in the same way I can look at a word, or a digital clock display, and instantly know. I have to think "ok, where's the short hand, ok it looks like 4 is just behind it, that means it's 4 something, ok the long hand ...

People who are like me, but believe that agnosticism means realizing that one can't know whether there is or isn't a god, and that atheism means knowing there isn't a god, consider themselves agnostic. People who are like me, and believe that agnosticism means not believing one way or the other, and...

What constitutes "good money" is very subjective. How much money you need is also relative to how much you spend. Not to mention the fact that money doesn't bring happiness, etc... It doesn't bring happiness, but it does eliminate poverty-related unhappiness. I already know how to be happy, the pro...

Ok, I make a thread about how unfunny Spade is, and you guys come in and mention Will Ferrel and Carlos Mencia? You people! They're no Dane Cooks.. but they make me laugh. David Spade makes me scowl. Two different categories entirely. Obviously this has to do with taste, but.. you gotta give Ferrel ...

I'm so relieved that no one was bothered by anything I said! I was worried about that. One little thing bothered me: B has lots of ideas about everything at work, and offers unsolicited suggestions about how to improve everything, stepping on the toes of others and offending them. I'm gonna take a ...

My special interests are music and zelda, pretty much. I consider myself not so much a studier of music theory, closer to a musical theorist. I had to teach certain things to myself when my teacher mistaught me. Like the 3 against 4 polyrhythm. She tapped out the rhythm for me, I thought "that doesn...

as well as by making implicit references to "common sense", the idea that reality results from concensus among humans and that an argument can be disproved by ridiculizing it. Where did I make a reference to "common sense?" A term I find laughable. I think perhaps what upsets you about this discuss...

You are displaying a lot of irrational NT behavior here. I'm done with you. Find someone else who will actually stop to humor your idiocy. EDIT: Well, I'm done right after I say these things: I actually was NOT pissed before you dared to pervert the truth by using the "you're displaying irrational ...

You know how unfunny I think he is? When I turn on the tv and flip to Comedy Central, and the Showbiz Show is on, I get pissed that it isn't one of those sh***y 90s comedy movie reruns instead.

Of course, to be fair, when I say NOT funny, I really mean not very funny in comparison to the things I find to be REALLY funny. I see David Spade as like.. average joe funny. Like.. priest and a rabbi walk into a bar funny. Or, pull my finger funny.

I pretty much agree with you Rain_Bird, but I will also say that the really -really- good stuff is rarely found in the mainstream, and this is because mainstream is stereotypically about selling as many copies as possible, which means dilluting lemonade until there is a small enough amount of lemon ...

Let me just remind everyone watching what willem mistakingly thinks autism is defined as: All felines are autistic. Autism is the natural mind maintaining its relationship with reality by seeing, hearing, touching, feeling, tasting and smelling it, instead of succumbing to illusions constructed by l...
