Dont do it in the hot blood of the moment. Do your revenge in the cold blood of the long term via "cold" calculation. It will work out better. Thats what theyre saying. And its probably usually true. Israel shoulda thought things through a little more instead of falling into HAMAS's trap b...

Never let a YouTube video do your thinking for you. Utube is just a platform- the folks who use it come in all quality levels. So its like saying "never never let a library book do your thinking for you." The doc is suggesting he watch something on it. Not to let it "do his thinking ...

For me it was the other way round. Alcohol was caused by long term grudges. That's a large part of why I can't hold grudges any more.

That whole long post... was just a set up for a bad punchline? That religion is analogous to Sony computer software- that stops you from ripping CDs but opens you up to malware? When I was a little kid I was both picky and adventerous. Loved Chinese food. But I couldnt stand butter on things. Even on bread. And since butter isnt particularly good for you that is good. Gradually I caved into the crowd to conform in my adolescence ...started putting a little butter on corn co...

The New York Times, and the Daily Beast, report that RFK Jr. just announced that "doctors found a dark spot in my brain, that is a dead worm. It got into my brain, ate some of it, and then died". That might explain some things about the man and his recent seemingly sanity impaired turns in...

If you think you're a liberal, but "experts" on the internet inform you you're not a classical liberal, are you still a liberal? The word "Liberal" in America means someone who is left of center, mildly not conservative. In favor of the govt. helping folks occasionally. But in E...

Never heard that ...about prison. And hard core prison is a BAD place for even women to wear pierced ear ear rings...I would think. Because if you get into physical fights its a weak spot to grab you. But long hair covers up your ear rings. Thats why Black folks dont get tattoos. Whats the point of ...

An interesting piece of obscure musical Washingtoniana from an out-of-print (I wonder why) album by the God Father of Go-Go music the late great Chuck Brown. Brown and his band back him up...but (about two minutes in) you hear a rap performance by, none other, than D.C. mayor Marion Berry. He stumbl...
