Also, I can get a really good feeling when sound goes from one speaker to the other side. This is best with headphones on. Does this have a name? I thought of trying to find recorded sounds that have this too. I have heard it in some songs.

I'm not perfectly sure if this AMSR is what I experience. I have never heard of this name before. I like the eye exam one. I like the sound of her voice and the sound of the writing on paper she does. It might sometimes be too much of a whisper voice though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=play...

I don't see those markers very much but I have seen them. I am not sure what I thought for sure. I don't think I thought someone died literally where the marker is planted into the ground because that is pretty precise and car accidents are bigger than that. I thought they were car accidents that ha...

I thought laws of nature were not really prescriptive laws but human models to explain. Descriptions of what happens. The laws are real, as real as anything in the universe is. Just because something isn't material doesn't mean it's not real--the laws of nature are one example (very basic abstract ...

I thought laws of nature were not really prescriptive laws but human models to explain. Descriptions of what happens. It is required that it is repeatable as well. But what if there is phenomena that does happen in reality but which is difficult to cause to be repeatable in a controlled environment?...

The OP seemed to be asking if people here have had "paranormal" experiences (ie, subjective). Fnord first states, "There is no valid , empirical, and objective evidence to support any claim of paranormal or psychic abilities or experience. It's all subjective, and open to interpretation." Then offer...

There actual white noise machines you can buy. But I think thunderstorms sound better. I listend to a thunderstorm cd every night. I put it on repeat. I can even hear some glasses clinking the background in one part of the cd. And a quiet cat meow in another part. I sleep better with it on. It is co...

I have watched documentaries where claimed psychics have helped police solve the crimes. It's hard for me to believe. Yet, I don't see how this can be denied that some detectives (a minority, I bet) have used such people. Especially when they are not going anywhere with solving the crime. If the psy...

A 'rational' explanation could also be a rationalization to deal with the tension of an experience which contradicts how the world is 'supposed' to work.

Not saying this is the case with anyone in particular.

(Not that I would pay to see a psychic. I don't think I would. But, I am skeptical of skeptics too. And that is because they could also be defending their world view against other world views, or ideology.)

I walk by them, keep walking, and if they say something I will say "hey" or "hi" and walk past. Leaving is the same thing. I think the reason they are there has more to do with issues of stealing and security. I like getting past them too but I know I just have to do that and I am done with that par...

Whether these are stims or not, I don't know. But I do a few things with my fingers. Put my index finger on top of thumb and push index finger to bottom of thumb to the web and push index though to palm area. I then repeat. I also hold my thumb in palm of hand tight. Or hold thumb in palm and push a...

Kirayang I have synesthesia with sound and tactile so I literally feel the bass (not just the subwoofer part that everyone can feel as vibration); it's hard to describe and I'm not very poetic usually lol I'm not sure what you're talking about but I am also able to feel music over my body. I did not...

I can't say that I like dubstep because it's possible that I don't like that many of the songs. I can hear dubstep influence in some other songs now though and I like it. I like these three songs so much. I have listened to them over and over. [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdsSqfhr8Dw[/you...
