Okay, my fiance has PDD or Asperger's, and I'm not really good with social cues, so my mom always tells me what he did wrong in her opinion. I just got him to meet a guy friend of mine, who's brother has PDD as well. We hanged out in some kid park, and my fiance began showing how worse them me he is...

Do people really believe AS and ADHD are so horrendously overdiagnosed? Yes. Do people really believe AS and ADHD are so horrendously overdiagnosed? They're hot topics in the media and if it's on the news it's gotta be true, right? :P It just shows how ignorant people still are. Hell, I know people...

3. If you're under the age of 21, you might get put into Special Education classes. I was diagnosed when I was about 10 and went to a special needs school when I was 11. In terms of helping me to understand the world and cope with the many irrational rules underpinning social interaction, it was th...

2. Others will treat you as an "as*hole Aspie" since Asperger's is over-diagnosed. I get the same with my ADHD, even though I'm one of the few who actually have it ! !! No, people treat you like that because 1) They don't believe ADHD is a serious disorder and 2) Think you are making excuses. Neith...

I have a few reasons NOT to seek diagnosis: 1. You DON'T want others to know. They will treat you differently. Ever told anyone you're bi-polar? They will act carefully around you and/or will pay too much/not enough attention to your mood swings. Same with AS: "It's OK....Pease don't scream!! !" 2. ...

But I do want to make it better. And if you want something to be done right, you gotta do it YOURSELF.
So, choiselessly, I do. :?

I hate that thing. Using is cruel. Many people do that. I guess I was technically using my ex when desprately trying to revive our love. He was kinda using me, so we're equal. Aspies tend to be 500 percent genuine and sincere and generally would not even think of using people. That is purely an NT c...

1. We'll get married in 2 years. 2. I'm sick of my mom whining about him having needs, and special needs (spending time with me is special needs, according to her), and I feel like I'm being pulled at the same time toward opposite directions. I feel like she's trying to cause me to dump him. She ha...

When you try to explain your feelings about him do they listen to you? or do they just shrug you off and say "this is whats best for you"? :? Well, I just can't explain my emotions. Others think I do, but I don't even get to say half of what i feel. I don't know how to even get this subject out of ...

You should test it.
I started suspecting I might have had mild ADD after zoning out every few minutes in class unless I was interested in the subject and it was new to me, and after seeing a neurologist I was diagnosed with pretty severe ADD. taking Ritalin SR 40 mg ever since then helped me.

When trying to remember things on rebound, pictures of things that has nothing to do with the memory joins it, but only for rebound.

That's an insulting glitch, as I take great pride in my relatively accurate memory of places.

Your Aspie score: 152 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 50 of 200 You are very likely an Aspie http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5176/5491953954_1bba24c113.jpg I've not been diagnosed yet, but I've taken all kinds of different tests and they all agree that I'm probably an Aspie.
