I'm 21 and I got my license on the first day possible, so I've had it for over 4 or 5 years. The first few years I had my license, I drove about 2 times. Now I'm driving a lot more and I'm getting comfortable quickly, although I'm still awful at navigating unfamiliar places. I think NT's often suck ...

(edit: thanks to the original poster. I read some of your advice before I went to the interview. knowing what to do isn't too difficult... the more challenging part is doing it under some pressure. preparation helps with that.) I just got back from an interview and, assuming I pass the urine test, I...

From what I can tell... in a similar situation, I wouldn't just tell her all my feelings and desires for her right away. I recommend... you show her you're interested in friendship. Ask her for a chat or a casual date, somewhere pleasant and relaxing. Don't confess your eternal love or secret obsess...

Babies... Perhaps it's possible, but I have never had a romantic relationship that was similar to my relationship with friends and family... The physical intimacy I feel with a potential mate is very different for me, and the fact that I haven't spent years of my life with her makes her interesting,...

Well, you could be open and honest, and tell him more about yourself. There are a lot of benefits to being honest in relationships, and if you're capable of admitting the truth to both yourself and him you should feel comfortable. It's easier said than done, but it's worth a try eventually. A relati...

I almost never did work at home, and I rarely studied, but be careful not to generalize the problem too much. It's not so simple as that unfortunately. Luckily success isn't necessarily related to good grades, but you should try to teach him the importance of at least passing high school and let him...

Well, I'll just recommend a few books and authors I like that might give you some motivation and useful information. You can try The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway, Human Action by Ludwig von Mises, or... how about an autobiography of Benjamin Franklin :D. Actu...

It's complicated, but basically... learn philosophy, learn to understand your desires and thereby justify your existence. You can start by thinking of how the universe might have originated, how it works and how you originated. It is difficult, but it's doable. If you have the time, read and apply p...

Regarding one point, the diagnosis can help you understand and accept some of your problems, whether or not you have AS. I've also felt the same way about my acute empathy, but at some point in my late teens I became very detached emotionally. A girl was the final cause of that, but I think other fa...

The first part is easy to do, and once you've gotten into a task you may go far into it with much less trouble. The other aspect is the mo...

There's no need to rush. Reading and learning will make you a better writer too. I don't remember where, but there are several places where writers can share their essays, stories, books online and interested people will read. Of course there are many sites where that's possible but some intended fo...
