" lessened ability to conform to social demands is more the issue here. " This is what I'm talking about. I am myself, and I am not going to try to make someone happy. If they aren't happy because of my opinion, I don't want to be their friend anyway. Opinions are just that - Opinions. Friends need ...

See, the question isn't just "Am I OK with who he is?" The second question, which is just as important, is "Is he OK with who I am?" I was OK with who my ex was, and still is, but she isn't as OK with who I am. I accepted her for who she was, but she wanted me to be more like what she wanted, so it...

Honestly he isn't as sexually equipped as I hoped he'd be.. he's 6' 4" though. I think he knows it bothers me. sorry, can't focus on the rest of your post. i wonder... did you date him because he is tall and you assumed he would have big junk? because it's not like he would have instantly started b...

He annoyed me because of the "poking fun" humor he has for me... I think of it as immature.. but he hasnt dated as much as me and I think that's just his way of flirting with me.. And I like who he is.. his personality itself does NOT bother me.. its just the dumb jokes he makes that are "sarcastic"...

Instead, I explained to him what the problem was.. that he annoyed me kind of. He understood. He told me I take things too seriously.. I told him that's just my personality. We're still together. He's been acting differently.. but idk if that will last.. I don't expect him to change.. just to be mor...

Im dating someone who kind of annoys the crap out of me... and I don't know how to break up with him. I keep listening to this song "Hope" by The Submarines.. and I figured out why.. the lyric.. "ain't no sunshine gonna take this rain away.." And it's true.. I think he's really immature.. and it jus...

I work at Chipotle.. and the first job at chipotle is working the tortilla press, which means greeting strangers and asking how they are.. what they want.. etc.. My bosses keep telling me I need to increase my "energy level" with positive, bright, smiling greetings to people. What I'm confused about...

Hey I'm 19. I'm undiagnosed aspergers but I'm pretty sure I have some of it because I can't tell if people are terrible or not. I'm from Indiana. It's soooo boring here.. If you would like to chat, message me. I'm down for some conversation. Just ask me a random question. We can play 20 questions if...

I find the statement: ‘No sense of humour’ very vague. What kind of humour is meant here? There are many different kinds of humour. There is the stand up, ‘in your face’ comedy that’s dry, acerbic satire. This is done for display purposes. This kind of humour aggressively challenges social norms an...

I'd rather not get lied to. So I treat others the way I'd like to be treated. You should be careful with this thinking. The axiom does say "treat others as you would wish to be treated," but I find it does not always hold for aspies. Our wants often do not parallel those of most people. Ever since ...

I could be good at it if I tried, but I have too much respect for my friends and guilt after lying. Not worth it to me.

I don't lie period.

I can't because I'm terrible at it, so I figured I'm better off just being honest because that's the most honorable thing anyway.
