You may have a latex allergy, or, maybe, you're wearing cotton that hasn't been broken in yet/washed a few times. In the case of a latex allergy, anything you wear that has spandex, lyrca, elastic, etc...will give you trouble. Also, keep in mind, there are "latex" foods that make you react similarly...

For me its my skin. Ha, I can relate to both. I keep my hair shaved, just so I don't think about my hair so much. As far as skin, early on, somehow I based my self worth on the clarity, smoothness, non-acneness of my facial skin. A theory is, I saw how people with clear skin (and not to mention, th...

Yeah, I do have a best friend, who knew me before I knew I had AS. Im very open and honest with him and he gets me, more so than anyone else. There are other people that I'm open with as well, but with everyone, I can be hot and cold. Like, I have no problem sharing intimate details, but I seem to e...

I could go on forever about vitamins, minerals, foods and how your body reacts to them. Since Ive gone gluten free, and pretty much lectin free, I have reversed so many proble...

I too never call people by their names, while in their presence. The funny thing is, when someone says my name while speaking to me, or touches me, I melt. To me, it feels like they really care and are sincere. I would do anything for them at that moment, ha. Anybody else have that?

Yeah, it's pretty rare to have a show or movie hold my attention, even my favorites. I was so excited on Xmas that there were all those NBA games on, I tuned into them all only to lose attention quickly, ha. I usually opt for exploring the internet, playing crossword puzzles online, while listening ...

Yeah, Im with you on that too. I don't know how to make it better, I'm still working on it as I just found out Im an aspie. But yeah, I find it crippling. In my mind, Im capable of all these great things, but I think them through and they usually end up as a failure, dead end, or an excuse for not d...
