I was diagnosed with Aspergers about fifteen years ago while I was in my early twenties. I've never liked a single job I've worked it, but surprisingly have been kind of able to hold onto them for surprising amounts of time. Seven years in retail...overnight stock. It wasn't bad for what it was, bu...

Well, yes and no. I certainly wouldn't bother if I won enough money in a lottery or something to last a lifetime, but since I don't think that'll happen I really do want a job (I'm currently unempoyed.) It's not that I want to work, I want the thing that comes as a result of working, which is money...

Actually there's a lot that you can do, based on your interests. There's a huge market for gaming in Japan so you could combine your Japanese skills with your love of gaming and get a job involved in game creation. You also mention your love of movies and have read a lot of articles about how they'...

Enjoy watching a lot of movies, especially at the theater. I probably see about 60+ movies a year at the theater, and I go by myself for most of these.Plus reading\watching interviews how their made. Also took acting classes and got in some indie movies. Gaming. Lately semi-competitive games like CS...

Since I take things literally a lot, people tend to think that I'm a smart ass. Thankfully most find it amusing. I only tell those type of jokes with people I know...otherwise they'll think I'm being rude. Normally I try to find flaws in the semantics of other's speech. Kind of like this one: http:/...

I haven't been without work for more than three months since I started working when I was 15. Even though I was not diagnosed yet, I was careful to chose jobs with limited customer interaction and did pretty well, although I'm paid crap because of it.

I taught in Korea for one year (EPIK program). It was decent and I probably would have enjoyed myself if I tried to learn the language more (I could only speak survival and while I can read hungal characters phonetically, my vocab was limited to food). Depending on how you go at it, living abroad co...

When I lived with my ex, I tried for twice a day when possible. Normally just once...sometimes three or more times on days without work. That's when I was in a relationship living with someone. For me, sex should be as a natural part of a routine, like eating breakfast. How I miss those days...

I occasionally lurk here. Just coming to seek a little advice. First, a little background: I have a steady help desk job for the past eight months, it pays the bills, and that's about it. I kind of got the job because of a contact high in command. I majored in Asian studies and my passion was Japane...

When I was in college, I felt there was something off in my life, so I took advantage of the free counseling they had there. After three months, my counselor told me that I might have Aspergers, told me what it was and recommended me someone who specializes in Aspergers. Since I had no health insura...

Only if I'm looking. As of now, I need a job. After that, I'll probably start carrying one. It's paid off in the past. :) My first girlfriend thought I had a lot of experience because I was prepared...took a few months to convince her that I had no experience before her.

I was 25 when I had my first kiss since I misread a girl inviting me to her place to me she wanted me. Initially she just wanted me there to get rid of a pest (mouse in her apartment). After I did that...well, one thing lead to another. :) Can't deny I was unbelievably lucky with the timing and situ...

Hate my GPA. Graduated with 2.956....I got A's and one B during my last four semesters. My "major GPA" is about 3.4 (I think). If only one of my A- grades were a A, I'd have that coveted "3.0". At least I got my Bachelor's of Art's in Unemployment.

It depends on the situation. If I'm with my girlfriend (NT), I can talk for hours and hours. I never can get bored since she gets interested in my hobbies even if she didn't know anything about them. If friends get me on the right topic, I can talk for hours. Now, if I don't know the people and they...
