I don't understand how people can like punk rock, indie rock, and other types of hard music that are bass and guitar dominated, and don't have very in-depth musical arrangments to them. To me it all sounds like noise, and very few of those songs I can understand the lyrics to them. Don't you ever g...

Being an auditory learner though, I can definitely say that it's easier to remember something if I hear it, even if I'm the one saying it. LOL! I'm the exact opposite! I can't learn anything unless I can see it. Which is probably why I learn 8 times faster from the "discovery channel" than I ever d...

I was depressed for ten years because I didn't know how to express my grief when my big brother died. It was like, I was soo sad, and I would write poetry about sadness and loneliness, but for some incredible reason, I did not know that this was related to my brother's death. And I don't know why no...

For me it was worse when I was younger, for some reason I didn't seem to be very self aware? Strange.. But now, (I'm 26 now) I am incredibly more self aware, but with much effort. Despite how far I've come, I still have problems with it. Like my mother would comment "hey, you look happy today", and ...

I also have a comment: what's the point of swearing in a song? I mean, you have to edit it out, anyway. Well, music is an art, and like any form of art, it's a way of expressing oneself. Some musicians feel the need to swear in order to express what they're feeling or thinking inside. They only edi...

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed a year ago with AS. I would be really interested in meeting other AS people. I'm 25, and I live in the Central Coast, NSW, in Australia. It's between NewCastle and Sydney. I can't write much now because I'm at work. But later I might give a proper introduction of myself ...
