I have a temp data entry job. Eight hours a day on the keyboard, I usually come back early from breaks and I don't even bring food for lunch. I'll have to look out for openings as a vault clerk.

Yeah I'm not going back. I'm going to have to have save my checks for a couple of months and I have this temp job coming up in April, that will be a big help. It's just disappointing. How did I let it get that bad and throw myself off track.

Do you think a community college will teach bookkeeping/payroll?

I had a job that I liked because I felt like getting it was going to lead to me getting somewhere. I lost it in three days. Then I turn around and blow about half of my money down at the casino. Such a freaking loser.

You will have to try contacting them. We cannot make the decision for you.

Also, what was really a help for me was getting on disability then using an agency that is specifically for helping the disabled find a job. You may want to look into that as well if temp agencies or Job Corp don't fly well.

I see. Do you know the name of the agency?

I saw the commercial called job corp but it seems to be like a boot camp where you stay , eat and sleep there. I just want a regular job.

There are alot of temp agencies. Job Corp might really be a big help for you.

How can communism exist without authoritarian leadership? What happens to people that don't want to work for the collective? "Communism" can only work in a small subsistence tribal environment and even those are certaily hierarchical societies. We'd still be living in caves if we lived according to...

What software programs did you use? What does somebody need to know? Each company I've worked for has a completely different database/record-keeping type program than the last. It helps to be familiar with the basics of a database program. But, essentially, all you can reasonably be expected to do ...

How did you get into data entry? I want to too. Well I started my office career as a file clerk. That was more challenging because that specific file room was far from isolated and was actually the hub of the business and I was like the go-to person to get everyone's projects done and pull files fo...

I prefer office work, specifically data entry, so that I can work more with computers than customers. Ideally, I'd like to be a computer programmer but unfortunately never finished my degree so I've been doing order entry/invoicing for the past 4 years. I make small-talk occasionally with the co-wo...

You have to fight back and stand up for yourself but if you've had to deal with non stop negativity with no back up then you feel like you can't BUT you can. Start coming up with things to say back. Reverse their negativity by saying what the person said to you in reverse which could apply to them....

I think the meaning of laconvienca's argument is not so much about pop culture. It's about the cognitive patterns of isolation and the toll that it may take on your identity.
