If you want to get testosterone, it depends where you are. You can start by talking to your family doctor. They will probably recommend you go to a gender clinic, if there is one in your area. Or start seeing a gender therapist. You can reach out to your local LGBT center and they would also be able... |

I agree it might have been a good idea to mention it to staff. You could always call to talk to someone and let them know now though. |

I came out as trans (considering gender reassignment) to my younger sister. She was really supportive, and basically said I have spent way too many years depressed and it's time that I get happy.

The only "objective" part of sex/gender is that a Y-chromosome exists. How we choose to classify it, and what role it plays in society, is 100% subjective. Saying, "If you have a Y-chromosome, you are male and a man!" is every bit as subjective and arbitrary as looking at a color and declaring that... |

I usually only have one pair of jeans at a time. I will have a "back-up" pair that I will wear if my comfy ones are dirty...but they never feel the same. I wear my one pair of jeans when I go out, and I change my shirt every day if I am going somewhere. It's only recently that I realized people noti... |

Here is a funny 911 call from a cop who ate too many Marijuana brownies and thought he overdosed from the brownies. You cannot overdose on marijuana he just ate too much of it becoming nauseas and he panicked like a little b***h. He stole the marijuana probably from some pothead's stash so he got w... |

I'm also a transguy, still female bodied though. I'm hoping to start hormone therapy in the near future though, I'm seriously worried about my mental health if I don't. I'm wondering how my socializing might "improve" once I become more comfortable with my physical self. I don't really care, because... |

Hi there, I can understand what you are going through, because I am a transsexual and also have Aspergers. I have always felt that my gender incongruence has made it even harder to interact, because I am always second guessing my actions in the first place. I'm hoping to start hormone therapy in the... |

I have no idea what 24 year olds are supposed to be intrested in. Everyone thinks I am 17 because I look so young, but I don't have a clue what 17 year old are supposed to be intrested in either. And you know what? I don't care. ^^^This I never know what other people are interested in, or supposed ... |

I feel like this as well, I identify as a gay trans-male, currently still female bodied. I am also married to a guy, who is totally supportive of me. I bind my breasts depending on where I am going, so it makes passing easier. I'm hoping to start hormones soon, because I can't imagine living with my... |

Eventually, though, the feelings began getting stronger, particularly after learning what transsexualism is. That's how it was for me, once I learned that it was actually "something" and I wasn't just crazy. Particularly after realizing how relatively easy it will be for me to start hormone therapy... |

My son asks a ton of questions, and I don't always have an answer for him. When I don't know what to say, I usually try to respond with a question so it puts the focus back on him quickly. That's my best advice for next time. Maybe responding something like "Well what if I did want to be a boy?" or ... |
