He probably has a relationship contract because of his wealth and the fact that he has a lot of time constraints as a CEO of Facebook. The hoodie thing is pretty interesting. He gets away with that because he is a successful billionaire and doesn't have qualms telling the news interviewers: that no ...

and today we find out that Flame used 2009 era stux code. nothing to see here... Actually there is! This is a military-grade cyberweapon. It is pretty typical for the public to find out about military technologies way after the fact. 2009 is only 3 years ago--not current but not obsolete either. Al...

I don't think this information should have been released to the general public. Seriously if this was designed to wreck the Iranian Nuke Program, and if it was working, I consider it to be preferable to using conventional bombs dropped from aircraft and resulting loss of life from those weapons. It...

Hmmm ... Suspicious! For the freezer, the meter AND both alarms to fail at the same time... :? Unlikely Yeah, and the article that I read said that the temp gauge was reading cold--temperature gauges don't fail like that. While it is possible that the alarms were set up incorrectly to begin with, t...

It sounds like everyone here has great ideas on how to fix this site. With such a serious discussion about this I'm surprised Alex has not posted anything in this thread. It leaves the impression, rightly or wrongly (I honestly don't know which) that he doesn't care or perhaps doesn't have the time...

It really is remarkable how some therapists are so clueless. They just assume that their clients lie to them and don't do enough listening. "Love" and "Hate" really are opposites since they are both strong feelings of affection: one positive and one negative. Of course everyone understands this exce...

I do my best to keep my personal life out of the workplace. I greatly appreciate when others do the same. If you are always busy at work than people won't have the time to bother you.
So stay busy and redirect any personal conversations back to work issues.

I know you mean well but I find the implications of this sentiment to beslightly insulting. Sometimes depression is 100% biological. The people who always say that placebo is as effective as SSRI's will invariably (if they are honest) admit that severe biological depression actually does improve wi...

... Trust me, This is better than an "off the shelf" software. With this - You can log in on the homepage and everything just works (generally). Except it doesn't really work well . I spend a lot of time waiting (tens of seconds) for threads to load sometimes. Sometimes it takes several seconds to ...

If nothing else, you should be evaluated by a pyschiatrist. Prescribing meds to teens is a lot riskier than adults, but if you are at the point to require impatient services than it might make sense to try some meds. You also might want to tell a psychiatrist why you find therapy "pointless". Maybe ...

So, what is the problem ? Does WP have too much traffic on its forums for the bandwidth allotted by the servers? Posting and refresh is very slow sometimes. Is that the "server problem", basically lack of resources or are there secondary issues? I am hoping any day now someone would post a rambling...

Saying something is "difficult" or "easy" is pretty useless without a lengthy explanation as to why that is the case. If there is no context there then it really is meaningless.

I think people with Asperger's tend to differentiate themselves as a separate group because they are humans and humans do that kind of thing. All humans need a concept of "us", clearly defined in opposition to an external "them". I imagine that since people with Asperger's are in fact more or less ...

It sounds like you are a unique and odd individual that doesn't conform to herd mentality and become boring. You might be an interesting person to meet--it is too bad your self-esteem appears to be low.

Why should you feel guilty about this? I think you should be more comfortable with your special interest. It is interesting; if your special interest were a sports team of some kind, it probably wouldn't even be mentioned. People sure have preconceived notions over silly things sometimes. Anyway, wh...
