I'm a synesthete too. Grapheme-color and temporospatial among others. It's nice seeing others. :D

I've known that I'm autochorissexual for a while, yet I've never met another. Since there's a term describing it, I'm assuming there are others. Also, I have a fluid orientation. It has changed multiple times since the start of puberty, with each "phase" lasting from a few months to severa...

I have synesthesia, and I believe I also have Asperger's. Either way, throughout my life, my mind has done things that no one around me did. When I was younger, I used to see things. Random things that made no sense, so I guess they were just hallucinations. In one of them though, I saw what I suppo...

Does anyone recommend just keeping the results to myself? Since it sounds like most other peoples' families already knew, at least somewhat, that they had it and mine just don't see it, not telling them might avoid conflict. I might have realized why my family doesn't see it though. My brother has c...

I haven't been diagnosed with Asperger's by any doctor or psychologist, though everything I've read about about it both online and in books I have in some form or another. I will be going off to college in the fall and intend on going to see someone about this either to get diagnosed or to tell me w...

When you think about Tuesday as stated in your example, the word Tuesday just is baby blue for you. It is not synesthesia if you spent time deciding on what color you wanted Tuesday to be. In fact, some synesthetes actually experience unpleasant colors! Sadly, that's how it is with me. Yellow is on...

You know, when I started this, I really expected to have almost everyone either ignore it or say they didn't have it. I have not known any other synesthete other than myself. Looking at the poll though, it makes me wonder how common it might really be...

I wish I could help you, but mine aren't that strong, so it's never been a problem for me. :D

I've wondered why mine is shaped this way a lot. The only thing I can think is that it might be related to temperature, since it goes down from August until December, like the temperature does. But by this, I'd think it should be up with the other half. As for weekly, I think it's because I really d...

My calendar isn't like that at all. I can't even really picture yours very well. My weekly calendar is an oval, starting low on Monday but coming around and getting higher until Sunday where it shoots back down again, and my monthly calendar is like calendar pages lined up next to each other January...

I have grapheme-color synesthesia, along with number form synesthesia, and from what I've read, I probably also have Asperger's. I was just wondering if anyone else has synesthesia, and if so, do you have any other mental anomalies, like Asperger's? I'm curious if there might be a connection between...
