Religion is an optional part of human existence. It is not compulsory.
Those that tell you otherwise are wrong.
If a doing a thing makes you unhappy, stop doing the thing.
I appreciate this is often easier said than done.

Probably. But I'm not sure what remains of the scared little boy I once was. I spent from age 27 to 37 (roughly) coming to terms with and understanding the many things that happened, which to a very large degree released me from the lasting effects.

My house is always dirty. I often have a clear memory of having recently cleaned, but the evidence suggests weeks or months may pass in between cleaning. I will be totally confused and surprised to see a layer of dust on things, until I stop completely and try to recollect when I last did something.

I find that the limited interaction I have with co-workers is pretty much the limit of what I can realistically deal with. It's nice to have people who I get to see regularly, but in small doses.
Apart from this I have absolutely no social circle. And I am fine with that.

I prefer to be completely on my own, preferably up a mountain or something, and this is what I did for many years.
Ever since I got tricked into parenthood I do the family thing.

^^ I dig your avatar, though from my outlook it's slightly ambiguous what it is. :) Could you inform us? It is a rabbit sitting on a "royal chair" which is built from carrots (and not swords). http://laughingsquid.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mad-rabbit-king-celebrates-the-p.jpg?w=1200

"So What" is playing now, a track by jazz playing Mr Davis. Almost midnight and I am a long way from snoozing. Spotify is proving a fabulous companion. I am thirsty, what to drink? I think cappuccino is a no-no at this hour. A drink comprising fruit that has had a good squishing sounds ok.

Sigur Ros is playing on my hifi right now. I am having a calming Sunday night. Music is my thing, tv is only occasional, but a small amount of fun now and again. Without music I don't think I could function.
