To the OP: I kind of agree with some of the things you've said and some of them I don't agree with. I kind of know where you're coming from. Sometimes I feel like I've missed out on my youth too and I'm only 18. All of the stuff my classmates did, I really never got to do, or I didn't want to do it...

I don't feel female. I usually have a strong resistance to the idea of me being female, or doing things "because I'm female," or wearing a dress/makeup/skirt, etc. The only time when I even remotely feel female is when I'm on my period, and only at certain times--usually the ones where I'm not in a...

I think you're greatly underestimating what a lot of NT women experience with their menses. Dysmenorrhea , Menorrhagia , PMDD , and several other very painful conditions regarding menstruation exist, you know, and they don't only affect women with ASDs. No, I didn't know. Thank you for the l...

When I'm on my period I'm even more emotional and sensitive to sensory things than I usually am; the smallest things agitate me, make me angry, put me over the edge. Tactile sensations are the worst: temperature (hot or cold), things that rub against my skin or itch, lotions and soaps, and yes pads ...

I saw the whole episode. I've actually always liked Glee, until last night really. I think it's right that they were trying to show how people use Asperger's as an excuse, but it was still offensive to me the way they did it. And it's passing along some bad jokes and stereotypes...from looking at th...

Perhaps you want to talk to the disability office about this (if you have a professional diagnosis--if you don't, they won't be able to do anything without documentation)? I don't have a diagnosis, so I don't think that campus disablity services can help me. I am going to see a doctor and meeting w...

And after hearing how so many people here had positive experiences in college public speaking classes, I was pretty sure I could handle it too. I was really really incredibly freaking wrong. I gave my first speech last Thursday. It was supposed to be two minutes long and it was to tell the cla...

Agreed, but my thought was that the comment:

wasn't in accordance with the TOS. As if he's a bull on cattle auction that needs to impress some Yankee. Disagreement can be expressed a bit more politely.

Point taken. :?

Look i despise atheism because it is the cause of moral decline in the world. I disagree. Fear, war, hate, greed. The economy is bad, people live in fear of losing the rights, their homes, everything...this causes people to do desparate things, things they wouldn't ordinarily do under normal stable...

Is it a good idea to join an LGBT society? The university I attend has one too, and I've been wondering the same thing lately. I honestly don't know if it's a good idea for me to join or not (the school has a strong Christian presense and the community I live in isn't a very tolerant one) . Also, I...

Thanks for the reply mori_pastel. :D Reading through it was actually very eye opening for me. I'm curious, what do you think about your face? My face...the shape of my eyes and lips is really feminine, but other than that my features are fairly androgynous, I think. When I have my (already really) s...
