My symptoms get significantly worse in the winter. I have no idea why; maybe because there is less sunshine? When I'm stressed, tired or depressed they get worse, too. The one thing that does help is alcohol. I'm am supposedly much better when i'm tipsy. (I have to take other people's word for this)... |

Oh, yeah. I do it, too. However, I only say sorry to my family. I end up saying sorry a lot since I never seem to know what's going on and I say the wrong thing. To everyone else, I almost never say sorry. I'm just way too embarrassed and get ridiculously confused when I try to apologize to other pe... |

I'm not a big fan of being an aspie either. I have all the bad stuff and not much of the good stuff, too. I am highly anxious, stim like mad, hate being touched, sensitive to everything, etc. But, I'm not really great at anything. I did well at school, though I had to work at it. But once I got out ... |

Sorry, I don't want a man like that either. Admittedly, I want a man who is strong enough to be with me and all my weirdness. But, that is to be emotionally strong. My hubbie is a big, round lovable guy and I wouldn't change him for the world.
Big beefy guys are sort of creepy. |

Asexual physically, since touching is kind of painful and all the emotion can overwhelm me. But mentally, totally sexual. It's nice and safe in my head. |

Total tom-boy. In fact until I really started showing a figure, and quit hiding it, people thought I was a boy. I don't wear dresses or make-up or jewelry. High heels are painful death traps. Fingernail polish is ridiculous since it takes so much effort to care for them correctly. And, sorry, I real... |

Bloodheart wrote This. By painful I'm assuming you mean physically, not the case for me but certainly mentally it's painful and sometimes I freak-out. I want my boyfriend to initiate and be firmer in initiating, for sex to be more frequent and more interesting, but then of course most of the time I'... |

Naw, I don't have friends, either, unless you count my husband and mom. I really don't want any either. They are confusing and exhausting. |

My husband, a drug and alcohol therapist and I have been arguing for years about emotions. He says, and he is probably right (therapist guy and all) that there are a lot of different emotions. However, I swear I only feel happy, sad, angry, scared, anxious, and frustrated. In addition, the emotion h... |

I hate it when someone changes our plans. It can completely freak me out, especially if I've had to prepare myself emotionally and mentally to cope. Sometimes it helps me if I don't plan to do anything. Then I can't get stuck in my head and have to change. Of course, this only works when it is just ... |

I've done better with my mom now that i'm an adult. We've talked a lot in the last few years, especially after my dad got cancer and died. My relationship with her as a child was awkward. She didn't understand me and was so wrapped up in her own world that parenting was one of the farthest things fr... |

We're lucky if we have sex once a month  . I'm an Aspie and he isn't. When we first started dating, we had sex everyday for nearly three months. I think we had sex so often because of the novelty of the relationship But now that we've been married for almost 5 years . . . sigh. I have no abili... |

I was wondering if anyone had trouble taking medication? My father and I, both aspies have weird reactions to more than 50% of medications that are given to us. My dad ended up in the hospital because a statin (cholesterol reducer med) almost killed him. It wasn't an allergic reaction, but it was a ... |
