Having things in common works wonders. If you can find something, latch onto that for a while. Then, if you listen to their troubles, they like that, too.

Which causes you more problems? For me, I'd say the OCD related to both causes me more problems, so maybe Tourette's causes me more embarrassment, Aspergers causes me social anxiety and OCD causes me time, stress, and anxiety.

I'd go with Tourette's and tics I think. What about you?

If your doc supports your meds, then I'd say you're fine as long as you don't have negative side affects.

It could be OCD and/or intrusive thoughts. You should definitely mention this to your doc

I have food aversions, but have never been diagnosed Anorexic. Most of my problems started when I took ADHD meds. I lost a lot of weight and I was already very thin. I got too thin, and luckily some of my food aversions abated when the put me on Fluvox. I am still thin, but the OCD meds have helped ...

Their appetite suppressing affects seem to wear off, at least for me. I lost a scary amount of weight but luckily put it back on after a few months. Still, I'm probably too thin for my good.
