I did it only about three times that I remember. Never had friends for long. Went for long periods without any friends whatsoever. Did you have friends. Did you ever spend several days at their house? Or just the night? Have you ever even been inside their houses? And did you feel uncomfortable and ...

When I was a child and my mother took me to the dentist for a filling, I never got a novocaine shot, nor laughter gas, nothing. Now I don't really think laughter gas is necessary if you get a shot, but the shot is. Just wanted to know if this is common and normal. They do give these shots now, and t...

I flap since age six, every day for hours. It helps me focus. I flap my fingers with the speed of lightening, especially the right one, and my wrist moves a lot when I do that. Recently, age 49, I have tingling in my fingers, espeically the right one, in thumb and small finger, as if the hand is abo...

So, does anyone here like the same topics I do? Just out of curiosity. I like blogs about cats because I'm crazy about them. I dont mean blogs full of pictures, just rescue stories and how to litter train them, that kind of stuff. And also science fiction, not news exactly, but would one imagines ca...

Can be, but the best thing to do is learn self defense, because if the attacker is really fast and really good, he'd snatch that knife - and use it on you. Self defense's the best. I'm so happy I learned, and it was plenty of fun. Should check out it's really all about self defense though, before yo...

You go to a faraway country, let's call it Desperado, for a vacation. Your four year old son/brother/nephew runs away. Deperado police call and say they found him, but you cant pick him up for three days and he's held in a secret place. After three days they call again and this time they tell you wh...

I do surveys over the phone, and sometimes people say, "Is this a person or a recording?" And I say it's a person, and they keep saying, "You sound like a robot. Sure you're human?" And that's after I just answered them, so they know it's a person. Sometimes they just keep going ...

She kicked a kid half her size and a man carrying a small child. The little kid could've hit his head in the fall. If I was there, I'd have punched her in the face. She said she was scared, but she chose her victims carefully, the little ones, the man who can't fight back because he's holding a smal...

Does it work? Can you use it for years? Do you fall asleep faster? Is your sleep better?

We aspies suffer from insomnia a lot. And recently I wake up every hour or so and get something like five or three hours of sleep a night. I can hardly function.

Try to sleep, now that some neighbors have stopped playing really loud music across the patio. I'll just hope the kids playing there with a ball don't break my window, letting the shattered glass fall onto my head and neck. If that happens and I survive, I'll probably have to pay for the broken win...

I went to the supermarket a few minutes ago to buy ingredients for an apple and cinnamon muffin cake that's baking in the oven right now, waited in line forever. Hot, humid, and nasty outside, with bright glaring sunlight, just the kind we aspies looooove. (That was sarcasm, to those of us who don't...

They obviously didn't wa...

I wasn't spoiled growing up, but my parents taught us that even kids deserve some respect. We need to be examples to kids (and other adults), we need to show them what manners are, and if we only show them what being rude is, then they will learn from that; either assuming adults are jerks or becom...
