Three milligrams a day. Yes, Klonopin works wonders. It is also remarkably addicting. Do I care? No. I'd rather be dependent with an improved quality of life than the "person" I was before meds. I don't care if it is heroin; if it genuinely improves my life I have every intention of taking it. |

As a member or the autistic LGBT community, I felt it was very important to share my experiences here on Wrong Planet's homepage, perhaps offering a bit of hope to many of the lost and lonely members I see on these forums struggling with sexual confusion. Being gay and autistic is NOT easy - but it ... |

"Follow your heart—what a crappy piece of advice! I followed my heart and ended up on the dance floor surrounded by leather clad strangers rhythmically humping each other’s legs to the music of Lady Gaga like a pack of terriers in heat. Love can make you do crazy things. The storybooks forget... |

I explain it to people like this: Someone on LSD may be acting ridiculous, but they will later describe an overwhelmingly intense sensory experience and a terrifying and enlightening state of consciousness. The autism spectrum is like varying doses of LSD. Those on small doses can still function, bu... |

Potpurri, or Spice, or K2 (it goes by many names) is a synthetic THC analogue. It sucks. What's more it is far less safe than the real thing.
This guy meant no harm. He's just a crackpot. |

I strongly agree with the this theory's basic concept. It explains, well, everything. However, I'm not informed enough to formulate an opinion on some of the finer details. Hyper connectivity, hyper functioning and hyper plasticity? Yes! Toxic insult during pregnancy? Um... Can I just smile and nod ... |

I don't know about everyone else, but IWT fits my experiences perfectly, which is why I was so proud and excited to interview the Markrams for the homepage. This positive theory needs as much recognition as possible. Anything you guys can do to spread it around will help change the way the world vie... |

I think you should reread the interview on homepage. I believe you have misunderstood what is, without doubt, the most positive and neurodiverse theory of autism to ever gain recognition. The theory more or less suggests that we experience a heightened state of consciousness. It DOES NOT make diseas... |

I am so proud to have had the opportunity to interview the Markrams. This theory is revolutionary - an absolute game changer! It supports all the ideas I've had about myself since long before I ever realized I was autistic. This interview makes a profound and decidedly neurodiverse theory accessible... |

Ah, I see. I wasn't sure if you were talking about national attention being drawn to an autistic couple or what. I see now, though. I actually don't know exactly what I was originally thinking. Of course, when you are backed by an organization such as Autism Speaks, you can probably push your way i... |
