"Guns don't kill people, people do." As a history teacher of mine put it, "That's like saying 'cars don't kill people, people do.' " Well duh, they're both inanimate objects, and they both require some idiot to screw up and kill people. Also, oddly enough, people die more from auto accidents than f...

With sexual orientation, it's not a matter of what you want to be, it's a matter of accepting what is and can't be changed. Well, I cant agree with that. Sexual orientation can be changed, well I have read some scientific researches on internet and read comments of Ex-gay people! I think it is quit...

I am so lonely for a deep connection with someone I trust and understand. Also for touch. I have not been touched in years. I don't remember what it feels like to hold someone's hand. I long for meaningful affection. And that feeling crushes me sometimes. Believe me, you're not the only one.....

Any chance you could sedate her? I like to avoid sedating her but if it will keep her calm then I suppose I could consider it. Unless you know how she will react to the medication, that could backfire. Some of us seem to have odd reactions to any medication that affects the mind. In my case, a seda...

Hmmm... That's a difficult one. On one hand, I started becoming somewhat depressed as soon as I realized the fact that some day I was going to graduate, and so would all of my friends, and that we would just drift apart. That made me sad when I thought about it, but I didn't see the world as one gig...

I'm not saying I agree with it at all, but I think there's a somewhat logical reason for why society looks at male and female sexuality differently. Think about it like this. For animals in the wild, and I imagine for humans as well, at least before any shred of modern society, a woman has more to i...

How does that work exactly? I wish I could lose my need for affection so I could stop being miserable all the damn time.

It sounds to me like something is bothering him and he feels sorta helpless and alone... It sounds like he's in one of my "the world sucks and everyone hates me so I just don't give a f**k" moods. But hey, he's 6, and he's not me, so I don't really know.

I don't have a problem with march or any specific month or time of the year... Although I like spring and fall more than I like summer and winter because of the extremes of temperature. However, my birthday is in March, and that doesn't make me any happier than normal... I get to remember the day th...

This definitely makes AS sound way worse than it is. It makes it out to be entirely problematic without any good in it at all. I also hate it when people label my interests as "obsessions". This guy doesn't seem very sensitive. The only reason why our interests are labeled obsessions is because the...

I can't say for sure why people behave in this way, but what I do know is that it's not gonna stop until you stand up for yourself and show them you're not gonna take their BS. Carry around a baseball bat or a gun or something. You could try calling the police, but not much can be done after the eve...

According to the original article MRAs often favor policies as regressive as re-legalizing martial rape, preventing women from going into higher education, and with some going so far as to want to abolish female suffrage entirely (yes really) lest it interfere with women’s societal priorities as ba...
