KotOR veteran here; the journal you need to find is on the body of Rukil's apprentice, which can be found in an area beyond the Outcast Village, surrounded by a large pack of rakghouls. My memory of the exact whereabouts of the body is a bit hazy, but I think it's in an area past your second encoun...

Kingdom Hearts - Birth by Sleep: The music that plays in the Keyblade Graveyard is one of the more unsettling musical arrangements I've heard in a game, and it really heightens the sense of the unknown as you move through the area. I first heard it at the end of Kingdom Hearts II after beating that ...

I'm convinced I don't actually have AS and was merely made to fit the label by the psychologist evaluating me, and that I should have been diagnosed with NVLD instead. I know there can be some overlap between the two, but I feel more "at home" in the NVLD category than I do the Autistic Spectrum, wh...

Tactile: Any meat product with fatty, chewy bits repulses me. Some types of pasta that have a particulary slimy consistency while in the mouth. I used to hate macaroni and cheese, although I'm okay with eating it now. Socks and clothing tags are also a nuisance. Water anywhere on my face and in my e...

I can relate, somewhat.

I don't like the backs of office chairs rubbing against me, so I spin them around so that the back of the chair is facing my chest.

Or I'll sit forward in them so that I'm sitting on the very edge of the seat.

I really should invest in a cushioned stool.

Society is not to blame for the actions of this degenerate. If anyone's to blame, it's the perpetrator, himself, for failing to acknowledge his problems and seeking help in order to resolve his apparent issues. I would argue this interpretation. I'll try to remember to come back to it later after I...

Sodas and colas of various brands seem to be my current food obsession, though that might be due to all that caffeine.

I expect I shall be toothless in a decade or so as a result. :(

I don't hate NTs. Nor do I think that your examples are indicative of the opinions of the general WP community, whom I happen to believe are mostly tolerant and inclusive of people of all backgrounds, be they NT or Aspie, or whatever. There is good and bad in all walks of life, whether it be in neur...

This is a tough decision to make, OP. I guess if I had to pick I'd have to choose The Boss (AKA The Joy) from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, simply because I love strong female leads and her touching backstory really drew me into the game. The mother-son bond between she and Snake was very well do...

Is it okay if I skip to phase 4 immediately whenever this happens? I don't show any physical manifestation of it in front of other people, either. I try really hard to keep it inside, and then I have to go to my room by myself and take a nap for a while before I can feel better. ^This. I've had the...

What's with all the hostility? Did something happen that I'm not aware of? I'm not even sure how I should answer this question, as it seems almost rhetorical, so I'm a little confused. I don't think that autistics are the only people capable of being overtly sensitive; just about anybody is going to...

People seem to fear me in general; I have no idea whether this is because of my intelligence or not, but they look at me as though I'd just stepped out of another dimension or something. :?

I've been told that I look Eastern European, sometimes even Russian, a number of times. I'm very pale, have very dark brown hair, and eyes that change in colour between brown and hazel depending on degree of exposure to direct sunlight, so I guess I do look foreign to most people. Oh, and I dress li...

"Fireflies" was sweet the first few times I listened to it, but it feels like it was meant to be performed to an audience of tween-agers. Like somebody else said a number of posts back, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin ( 8) ) are more my style, and I'll listen to the music by those groups over anythin...
