I've had long hair pretty much my entire life. I've never been able to figure out how to put it in a bun even after watching many instructional videos. I can't braid it behind my head either. All I can do is hold it back with a big clip, put it in a ponytail with a scrunchie, do a braid on each side...

Even though I hate trying clothes on I'd love to go clothes shopping. I just can't afford to because I'm so poor. When Andrew Yang is president and I get my $1k a month I'm going to buy a lot of new clothes and throw out a bunch of my old clothes that are very old and wearing out or don't really fit...

https://www.yang2020.com/ I only found 1 old topic about him on here. What do you all think of him? I agree with a lot of his policies and I think UBI would be great for many of us here, especially those of us that can't work at all or can only get low paying jobs. UBI would change my life and the l...

I still can't tie shoes. I can do the bunny-ears thing if necessary but I really don't like it. It takes me ages, sometimes a few attempts, and is unpleasant. Which is annoying because I currently have a pair of boots I like that have to be tied every time. Grr. I get around this wearing pull-on bo...

Besides the long ride they picked me up a block and a half away from my house even though all the other kids were picked up in front of their house. I'd have to be waiting there at 6 AM and in winter it was dark and cold and there was no shelter from bad weather. One plus side was I had double the c...

I just checked google maps to see the actual distance and the school they sent me to in seventh grade was 31 miles away from my house. It says it should be a 37 minute drive but between picking up and dropping off other kids and not taking the thruway it took about 2 hours to get there every day. Th...

When people stay home, do you guys get dressed?

Almost never. My nightgowns and pajamas are generally more comfortable than outside clothes and why make more laundry when it's already enough of a pain to get my laundry done.

I had a job interview recently and was rejected. Apparently they send the same rejection e-mail to everyone as I most definitely do not have "impressive credentials". "While your credentials are impressive, we will not be moving forward in the process at this time. We will keep your i...

I understand. From what I've seen from the people around me work generally involves going to a place you hate, doing stuff you hate, being around people you hate, and being miserable, and doing this until you can't take it any more and quit, get fired, or retire. Even the people that claim their job...

This would actually get me to go outside and go for walks but I can't get it because I don't have a smartphone. I can't afford one.

Family/disabled bathroom? The majority of places I've been to in real life just have a men's room and a women's room and that's it, unless they are so small they just have a single person bathroom which is just unisex and no one cares because only 1 person goes in at a time.

When I was younger I could barely sleep at night the first few days of my period because of worrying I'd wake up with a bloody bed. Later on I just started wearing a tampon and a pad to bed. You can wear them up to 8 hours so unless you sleep a really long time without even getting up to use the bat...

That is one of my concerns with when I start trying to work, I literally have no real references I can put down for a job. But they have some help for people on SSI to try and get back into working...whilst still remaining on the SSI until you can fully transition or I think in some cases you can g...
