Thanks! I forgot it was my b-day at least that is something good to think about and to the other response, it was not really anger at all it was more of a terrifying attempt to hide the fact that the sudden stop to the rushed activity made my brain kind of skip a gear and I lost most if not all cogn...

thanks that is helpful, luckily there is a girl in the class who saw that I was in trouble and seemed to sense that I could not be talked to or touched, she kind of looked out for me, I found out afterwards. She even took notes for me so that I did not miss out on as much as I might have. People lik...

Today I walked into a class in college and the teacher gave a bonus quiz but started it before class (before I even got there). as I was writing the answer he called out "This is the last one I am accepting" so I could not turn mine in. I was already quite flustered by the hundred mile an hour, unex...

The style in which, A and B were presented were very biased and gave one no choice other then to choose Cor D. I do think that these opinions are unfortunately expressed and worst of all they are expressed in a much more subtle way. I have often heard these view presented in such a convincing way th...

Me and my husband have been together for ten years and he is very much like me so we get along in a kind of love/hate way. At times we are very sexually active and other times we don't even talk for weeks and maybe have sex once in a few months. Not because we are upset or anything it just doesn't o...

This is why I don't smile. I knew I was hideous. Now I feel even more self-conscious about my smile but will have everybody criticising me to smile, I am debating to myself whether to have all of my top teeth taken out and put false teeth in. Either that or I will f***ing kill myself. Now everybody...

Maybe it is not about the others being intimidated. It is more likely that they just also have questions or can answer the problems to, but when one student takes up the majority of the time or answers the majority of the questions it does not give the other students a chance to ask questions or see...

The problem is not wanting to appear NT, the problem is that if it is a real problem it takes over your entire life!! !! !! !! !! You can't function, you can't look to your children's needs, you can't look after yourself you can't live any sort of life. Every thought, dream, and moment is wrapped up...

I am going in Tuesday to talk to my doc about just this thing. My "special interest" is not destructive or embarrassing, it just takes over almost every waking and sleeping moment and I think I am neglecting a lot in my life, in particular time with my kids and school work. I should be able to focus...

Yeh, love bites. It sure as heck is never convenient no matter who you are. On the topic of beneficial mutation I had an argument about this very thing a few years back around a camp-fire. (which if people think I am rude here, they haven't seen nothing) The person who I was having the discussion/de...

I have to agree with the other posts that gravity would pull in the heavier, denser elements toward the center and the lighter gasses would rise outward. I suppose anything is possible (aliens, huge gas pockets, weird planetary formation) but this is highly unlikely.

I think threads kind of flow and ebb so that there is really no WRONG way to do them. I am wondering if anybody knows where to get to the actual data? If it is even possible for the public to review it. I know it would be "biting off more then I can chew" but it would be interesting.

I'm not going to put down the kid. First of all I have so much to learn that I can only refer to a limited skill set myself. I think he is just young and when you are in high school you are limited to comparing yourself to the kids around you, whom are mostly more interested in who is sleeping with ...

Quote mar00 True @ ruveyn (fond of your position on philosophy regarding this thread) Agreed @jono & @ Fnord (nice list) It goes something like this: http://hbpms.blogspot.com/ Studying science teaches one a whole lot of humility. What can I say - (advanced) quantum is no walk in a park. I chec...
