I've done this a few times in my life but it's rare and I do it when I'm relaxing, laying down and watching TV or something. |

I don't want to walk around with a fixed, false smile on my face just so people think I'm okay. I know what you mean, though. I was sitting on a train once and a group of middle-aged, moronic men started giggling and looked at me and one said "Sad-faced b***h" and I looked over at him, and the othe... |

I can relate to this all too much. I've always wondered why people treated me differently and I have just barely begun to make my own theories. I've just realized not so long ago how important eye contact and a pleasant look on your face can make people see you as more approachable, but it's sort of... |

When i first told my sisters and my mother, they completely denied the possibility that i might have Asperger's. They don't know much about what it is, but even when i tried to explain it was as if i was talking to a wall. They all remember me being strange, and my sisters would sometimes ask me que... |

I just found out that these two conditions can be almost identical. I've been doing some research but I still find it very confusing as to how you can even tell them apart? Some people argue that NVLD is the same thing as Asperger's Syndrome. Does anyone know a good deal about NVLD and can you pleas... |

I used to be WAY more gullible. One time my friend told me that her brother was allergic to babies and I said "Really?". She was joking, she meant that he didn't like kids. Hey, it's possible, why not? LOL |

I get like that with cameras as well. Actually it makes me more uncomfortable because i know someone is behind the lens still looking at me. I still have trouble taking pictures and i'll look beyond the camera, not directly at it. I don't get so uncomfortable with photos, only sometimes and the pict... |

Do any of you feel awkward making eye contact even with pictures? When I see a picture where someone is staring straight into the camera, most of the time I look away and feel uncomfortable. |

I used to have a lot less expression in my face and my voice was more monotone. Over the years i've learned how to speak better and use gestures with my face and hands a lot better. Sometimes when i get nervous my face and body tenses up though. |
