I think about the same thing. I say go for it, it is the company's responsibility and they will probably be ok anyway. Good deals are rare, lots of things overpriced. |

Well one person generally does not get to decide these things, although they do have some influence on the overall politics I suppose. |

That's a nice picture. I like to smile too I guess. There are people that like it and ones that don't, depends on whether they are optimists or pessimists (usually also bullies) probably. |

Yes, the word romantic has been materialized, and now means certain actions rather than the thought behind it.
Could be just the time period we are going through. Things tend to go up and down in history. |

Not too worried about not having a future, but don't like it when other people try to control it. |

From my experience girlfriends can often intentionally bar their friend from seeing someone they know, either out of competition or because they decided that he is not the "right fit" for you. Maybe wasn't the case here, but something to be aware of. I think I've been in these situations q... |

I find most people are unromantic these days, particularly in western culture, I guess they have better things to do. I can relate to your perspective, maybe we are old fashioned. |

Maybe you would be better working with intelligent people, although they are a rare find. I also have to socialize a lot at work, its really not an autistic friendly job. I don't mind socializing though if its not too overwhelming, its kind of necessary if you share space with others to get along. |

She seems to be making some progress with valuing money. Buying you a belt is a way of appreciating the money you gave to her. I do similar things with other people when they give me something big. I would agree though that something other than a random gift would be better, you could casually menti... |

I just have a hard time fully believing that is the case. She said she'd tell me if she didn't want to talk to me anymore and things have been semi-normal lately (like the way she speaks to me is the same) the only difference is she's been talking to me way less. I even asked her how she would feel... |

I don't think anyone is ignoring your posts, which have good advice. If it answered their question, they may not necessarily post anything else after. I know how you feel about work. If you don't work with intelligent people, nothing you do will convince them. Sometimes I feel like my talents are wa... |
