Forum: Women's Discussion   Topic: Women who view sex more like men--how many of us?

I know a lot of girls who basically feel what you are describing and very open about their sexuality, myself included. I think a lot of the hangups about women and sex come from outdated views that it's all about that man's pleasure only. If both partners are enjoying themselves and each other, that...

As a parent, wishing your child has something which, to be brutally honest, makes life harder in the long run, is not a good thing. Just because you may be autistic, does not mean your child would benefit from being so. This isn't about you, or at least it shouldn't be. Being autistic is not fun. I...

I'm part of a Facebook support group and pretty much every adult woman with aspergers/autism has one or more children with it. Most are in their 30s-40s and were diagnosed after having kids. Parents with autism aren't really well-studied, but I'd say the chance is at least 50% by my own observations...

Forum: Parents' Discussion   Topic: Why do Autistic/aspie/NLD parents chose to have children?

I'm not a parent, but would like to adopt to give a child a second chance. I don't want biological children because my partner is ADHD and I'm ASD, so I don't think that would be a great combination. Now to only convince him of my reasoning.

I don't really believe that there is only one soul mate for everyone. We go about life meeting people and we meet a few that we have a deep connection with. That connection doesn't have to be romantic either, as platonic friends can have just as deep of a connection. I'm able to connect with my boyf...

I don't want biological kids due to my fear of passing down autism and having a kid go through the s**t I did. I would feel really guilty about it. I definitely will consider adoption someday though.

Before you have sex with someone, it takes time to experiment and really see what the other person enjoys. That's a lot of the fun of it. Also communication during the process is absolutely necessary. Both partners should ask what the other is into and then try that. I know a lot of TV shows and suc...

I was a virgin until right after I turned 20. A lot of my NTs were virgins until their early 20s too. I even know a few who are still virgins and are older than I am now.

Just two for me, but I've been in a relationship with the same person for 2.5 years now. Number doesn't really matter to me as long as the person doesn't brag about it to their potential partners. I dated a guy that did that and it made me feel inadequate I guess, like I was just another number for ...

I don't consider cheating. Heck, my partner and I send NSFW fanart to each other when we find it. I think it becomes problematic if a person chooses porn over their partner though.

Can Autistic people adopt at all? I pretty much feel exactly the same way as you in terms of pregnancy, kids, etc., in addition to me having autism and my partner having it run in his family. Having biological children would be ethically questionable in my opinion. I would love to adopt someday and ...

The toughest part is that each option has risk of complications. I made an OB appointment for the 25th to discuss this. It would just be easier to get rid of periods in general and not have to worry about taking birth control at the same time every day with how busy I am between working two jobs and...

I have really been thinking hard about my future and having children, and have determined having them biologically isn't really ethical, given they are probably 50-75% likely to have disabilities due to my partner's and my medical history. It's not that autistic children aren't amazing people, but I...

While I am not a parent, I would love to see the results of the survey. Seeing more perspectives from autistic parents will determine if I ultimately decide to have kids in the future or not.

Flavored lube is also a thing and quite fun at that. Unless you are worried about STDs, I don't see the point of using a condom for oral. She just needs to know what really makes you react. That is what makes it fun when my boyfriend gets shaky or otherwise enjoying himself.

Public transportation is the worst in terms of creepy dudes! When even I have used it for concerts and am even slightly dressed up, creeps will try to hit on me or say weird things that I really don't appreciate. I've noticed that people leaving clubs and sports game goers are the absolute worst! Lu...
