I have read that the amygdala, the part of the brain that is involved with processes emotions and fear and the fight-or-flight response, has something to do with it. The amygdala has been shown to not function the same with people with ASD. Eye contact could cause the fight-or-flight response in peo...

Bad news: When I went to the doctors about 2 weeks ago after not doing it for months, I went back to my normal height. (5 ft) So you hadn't actually grown. Bones don't get shorter. It is normal for people to vary in height during the day by up to an inch. While we sleep the spine decompresses. Whil...

It's not much, but it was within wee...

I memorized a lot of pi just so I would always have something to do like what you said. I always need to have talking going on in my head especially when I'm just walking or waiting. I don't normally just talk out loud (I'm pretty sure I don't) though, but I like having digits of pi or any string of...

Then what are you suppose to say? I had a job interview at Dunkin Donuts and they were hiring 4 people, 5 people showed up, and I didn't get the job. I told them my reason was "I need a job and me and my mom think this will be a good experience for me". During the interview was the best social skill...

My top half is a lot better than my lower half. I was a MVP catcher and batter for softball when I was in middle school, I play guitar, drums, and keyboard, and type well (got an A and honored in business for my typing class). I can put things together, draw well, and my writing is ok (readable). Wi...

I always struggle with the question "what's up?". I hate that question a lot and get a little angry when someone asks me it. I either respond with, if it's a close friend then I sometimes say "the sky and ceiling, how ya feeling" which is something I heard someone say at my church a long time ago an...

I've read about this before and watched a couple videos and they all drive me crazy and make me want to cry. I hate the way it makes me feel. I get a weird feeling, but it doesn't feel good and it's not a positive feeling.
