Final Fantasy Tactics? Hell yes. It was jarring playing that game and seeing such direct criticism of class.

secret service long ago said that he won't spend a second in jail, they refused to go to jail to protect him. if he gets anything it will be a slap on the wrist in comparison with what others likely would have gotten in the same circumstances. House arrest, perhaps? Get a monitor on that orange, ha...

Then: "LOCK HER UP"
Now: "Banana republic!!"

If nothing else, everyone here can agree that the long-term consequences of this should be quite interesting.

Vanilla Fudge, by Vanilla Fudge

An album of mostly slow-tempo covers of popular 60s songs. This stuff was straight mind-blowing. I never knew you could turn the Supremes into psychedelic proto-metal

Huh? I thought it was Muslims who were trying to force their religion into law? Conservative Christians would surely never do something they so loudly condemn when others do it.

I'm not a theologist, but I'm pretty sure God doesn't have a 1-strike-youre-out policy on damnation. Hell, there's examples in the Bible of people lying to God Himself, and I bet there's not many people who would argue that eg: Sarah should be in Hell for lying about laughing at God's statement that...

the wikipedia version of the American dream is not time sensitive, In the 1800s it meant acres of arable land, stock animals and your own personal slaves In 1930 it mean't having food on the table as Americans were persevering through the great depression. In he 1950s it mean't having a small block...

The idea that the American Dream works or is good because it encourages self-reliance is absurd. . . . And yet, here I am! And yet where are those who worked just as hard as you--if not harder--yet do not enjoy your success? I'm sure some of the homeless people I see every day have worked harder th...

For the benefit of the parents, yeah. I can go back and rewatch shows from my childhood like Rugrats and I'm sometimes more entertained than when I was a kid. Like the time grandpa was showing the kids the movies he rented from the store, then saying that he would save watching "Space Vixens&qu...

Pink Floyd - Saucerful of Secrets YES. Imo their most underrated album that nobody talks about. There's a thing I don't really get about how people think of Pink Floyd, and it's a bit like them without Syd Barret (until Meddle or DSoM) = amateurish crap whereas DSoM = super band. It's kind of evide...

It's good to see his victims coming forth to speak out 100 years after they all died of old age!
