Hmmm, I don't have much experience with it (other than just knowing about it), but I'd suggest to check out Nanowrimo if you haven't! You can meet fellow writers online or in real life at their "Come Write In" locations. http://nanowrimo.org/come-write-in And ooh, I'm glad what I said was ... |

I'm a first-year in college too, so I'm currently trying to figure how to have a better semester too! (Though in different areas.) It seems as though you feel like you'd have a better college experience with more friends, doing more outside of your room, and exercising right? For exercising, many pe... |

As a girl who does a lot of engineering-related extracurriculars and is a physics major (the gender ratio situation is similar), I spend more time around guys. I don't think the "all eyes on you" should be a problem in class. Generally everyone's looking at the professor. If you're still w... |

Quite often, actually. People often wonder why I have extensions or test in a separate room and I would tell them that I have special accommodations or a disability. Out of curiosity, they'll ask and I'll answer. I like to be more open about it to show people that it's not something to be ashamed of... |

I've had several people tell me they suspected I was on the spectrum (on the top of my mind I can think of a teacher and a classmate). I asked why but they didn't give very detailed responses. They just told me I had a lot of the mannerisms common to autistic people. |

No regrets at all! I practically have a full-ride scholarship so loans aren't a concern for me. College definitely beats high school. I didn't come from a very good high school but now in college I'm surrounded by other highly motivated people. There's more variety in clubs and more resources availa... |

While I wouldn't personally take a cure, I realize there are those out there with autism who truly feel like they'd be happy without it. I'm not against developing a cure as long as it's not forced upon a person, but I'm against how Autism Speaks makes the condition seem to the public. |

Ooooh, I just graduated last week! Some of my regrets: 1) I spent the second semester of my sophomore year talking to someone more than I should have and ended up getting a B+ in my math class. I know, I know, it's not a bad grade, but it was my first B. I had a bad meltdown and thought my parents w... |

It depends on who you go with and what you expect to do I guess. The only dance held at my high school that I've been to was the senior prom. I attended it during my junior year because a friend asked me to be his date. I didn't know a lot of the senior class so I spent my time with my date, talking... |

For reference, I got a score of 2140: 690 Writing, 720 Critical Reading, 730 Math. Some of my tips: 1) Practice, practice, practice! I believe this is the best way to prepare for the SATs. Get the Blue Book (along with other prep books with practice tests) and take as many practice tests as you can.... |
