My best friend in the world has been offered a job elsewhere - in another state. He mentioned he's seriously considering going in part because they're offering a six-figure income. I'm deeply saddened over the prospect of losing another friend. They've all moved on to bigger and better things. Kind ...

I read in the rules that you're not supposed to make comments about fetishes but it's a question regarding what something is. I'm hoping that's ok. If not, I will gladly remove it. Whet's it called when someone who looks and sounds like a woman has a fully functional scrotum, testicles and a penis? ...

just all those years of hellfire being burned into my mind, even as a child, they'd threaten with damnation for something as small as claiming I didn't wash my hands before dinner. It sounds like you had a good upbringing, then. The "Hell" you were taught about is a Pagan concept, and it's not foun...

The vision thing, that's true. http://www.yorku.ca/eye/spectrum.gif Frankly, I'm glad we can only see certain wavelengths. X-rays, gamma rays, radio and TV signals just sound like way too much information. I mean, take a look at this and tell me that it wouldn't be spoiled by more wavelengths; http:...

From what I've learned, science is observing nature and when we can't see some force, we can observe its interaction of influence on something else, thus, we know it's there. Gravity, black holes, time and dark matter are some examples. We might not be able to see these things but we can see their i...

Ladies and gentlemen, you've just witnessed the birth of an atheist.

Just spend half the day watching Carl Sagan and stuff about critical thinking and this guy named Richard Hawkins on YouTube. Very enlightening.

I'm just learning algebra. Do the parenthesis first; 360 divided by 4 equals 90 and then do the multiplication; 2 times what equals 90? 45. x=45. The speed limit is 45. Right?

I'm so afraid. I'm afraid of losing all I hold dear. I'm afraid of losing my place int he community, the respect of my coworkers, people I serve in the community. I'm afraid of what will happen to my soul.
