I like bugs! I've been to the Montreal Insectarium several times (they're entirely re-doing it in the next couple of years and it will be EVEN BIGGER!) and to the Butterfly Conservatory in Kitchener (they have a gorgeous greenhouse full of various species of butterflies and beetles you can walk thro...

If you and your family have given up on helping the first dog so quickly, it's probably the best decision NOT getting another dog.

I'm sorry you're disappointed and i understand how hard it is to let something go when it's been researched and scenarios have been imagined. But what about the two year old dog with ocd? I work with dogs and have a much greater affinity for them than i do people. I know a lot of behavioral issues i...

um, yes, I know exactly how you feel. I usually go grocery shopping at 7am, as soon as the store opens, in order to avoid being overhwelmed by too many people. The place is still too big, too noisy, too bright, with way too much stuff....but it's somewhat manageable with only a handful of people aro...

It sounds like you're talking about dependence rather than being submissive. (And having a woman look after you is not 'cuckoldry'.)

Your teacher probably has her own schedule for marking and dealing with students. You could continue working at your own pace, but perhaps submit the assignments when they're actually due.

Wow, that's pretty awful coming from your mother. I really hate it when you try to give people the tools and information to understand you better and they twist it around to serve their own selfish ends. ('You wanted me to tell you when you said something hurtful.) Maybe you could tell her that if s...

I have a russian greatcoat that is incredibly warm and weighs a ton. I love it. Hate the seatbelt, it rubs against my neck and collarbone. I'm always yanking it away from me.

How can you be so sure she knew this would do damage to your friendship? If he didn't know you had feelings for this girl, why would she think you'd blame him? Maybe she thought she was being tactful by seeing him while you were away. You can't know what she was thinking. And you really shouldn't ho...

I think you're going to have to tell him how his lack of physical intimacy makes you feel, and ask for a better explanation. If he can't or won't talk about what's going on, then you're going to have to decide whether to stay or go.
