It's been a long time since I last posted here on WP, and I'm not an American. Having said that.... WHY are people so obsessed with ''political correctness''? I hear and read people saying that it's great that Trump won because he'll end ''PC culture'', and it just leaves me with a lot of questions....

I think we very well might be but I can't really predict when. On the other hand, I take everything I say and think about this subject with a grain of salt because most of what I have is a 'feeling of unease/discomfort' about what's happening in the world these days but can't really name THE factor,...

Since last college year I'm experiencing this increasing, creeping feeling of (future) inadequacy, as if I'd very likely struggle in the future to properly function in a job and as if my issues were tapping me on the shoulder yet again, whispering in my ear that no, I can't escape. As of now I'm sta...

I've read about this somewhere else... but what do they mean with 'jazzing hands'? I tried to google translate 'jazzing' but it brought up nothing and I can't really picture what they mean, then. Anyway, I think they take the whole 'trigger' and 'inclusiveness' thing way too far, it's beyond reason ...

Some time ago I began to frequent this forum a lot less because I just grew tired of the constant, ongoing gender debates. I made some replies too but overall it was a kind of hostility that I didn't want on an autism forum. I mean, I'm not interested in christianity/atheism debates either but they ...

By tv. If you hear ''I love you'', ''how are you'', ''let's go home'' etc etc enough you begin to notice patterns, not even consciously but especially a child can learn quickly that way. School never really taught me much; what came after tv was the occasional game ('melee') and plenty of websites a...

You're per definition on thin ice imo when you start to bring morality into the subject of dating and attraction as it's simply not about that. Nobody chooses to feel attracted to someone because they figure he deserves it nor is it anything to be demanded. If anything, you're crossing a boundary at...

Today was failure. I'm constantly tired, too. The two are related I suspect so my plan for tonight/tomorrow is: -Sleep well -Be VERY conscious and aware of thought patterns I tend to comfort eat because things are going haywire but by doing so I create yet another problem. Luckily I'm not even remot...

I came to know about the massacre when I was on holiday and when I gathered more info on the events the remorselessness and deep, fundamental lack of basic respect for human life struck me. I'm not really the type of person to call myself Charlie however, that's just not how it works for me. All in ...

Last week was better, also because I went on holiday (good thing, in January) and other factors controlled what I ate. I don't think it's an issue currently but I remain conscious about my choices and thoughts (as to not tempt myself or make excuses). I think the 'episodes' are getting more easy to ...

Doing it again as life sucks at the moment and my response to winter is bad this time.

So, today was bad, as was last week. Tomorrow should be better!

Decided to log in again after some weeks... suddenly thought ''Oh! New format, right? Let's see!'' But nope :o It's actually somehow adding extra -is that the appropriate word?- ''stress''. Not that I'm actually stressed, but it somehow feels 'not right' that a) new site b) it'll take a bit longer c...

My energy levels are low and my mood sad/down because of the seasonal changes (I suspect). I don't really feel like doing anything but doing nothing is far worse. I kick myself in the butt to get myself going however; it just needs to be done.
