| EDS is rare. Statistically, the determining factor is the EDS. If someone has EDS, there seems to be a pattern of them also being autistic. When I was evaluated by a geneticist for EDS (which I have), I mentioned, 'oh, by the way, I'm autistic'.
She said, 'oh, I thought there was a high chance you were before I met you'.
Apparently it's a pretty major comorbidity with EDS. |

| Well, I'm mailing off my application for GRE Accommodations today. Boy is this stressful. I have pages and pages of documentation, but I'm terrified they will think it's not enough and will send it back for more. I don't have time for more. I need to take the GRE this fall. But I have so much proof... |

I agree to a poll, but I think you should add an option for those who switch between functioning levels.
I'm mostly high functioning, but when I go nonverbal, I don't think you can call me high functioning then. |

Does selective mutism go along with catatonia?
Because when I shut down I can go catatonic, but if I try to stave off the catatonia then I lose speech. |

| I have been experiencing a weird symptom when under stress. It's been going on for about a year now. When I get stressed out, over-stimulated, or pressured, I lose the ability to form words correctly and speak well. Sometimes I can't get words out at all....other times I can get words out but I keep... |

It's really odd....I will just be sitting here doing something and all the sudden I have this spasm that turns my head and makes me wince....
