I am also a cleaner. I like my job, it is not too demanding so I have energy left at the end of the day for my interests which are very important to me. Unfortunately it doesn't pay very well, but I don't mind as I am not too bothered about money.

I don't think psychopaths ever ask 'Am I a psychopath?'. I'm not a psychiatrist, but I doubt very much that you are a psychopath.

I was very upset when I got my period for the first time, I remember crying. I definitely did not feel ready (I was 11). Whilst this might be better in the Women's Discussion, I don't think it needs to be in the Adult section, most people start menstruating when they are children and children are ta...

Hello Sandybear, welcome to Wrong Planet. I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. Obviously I can't diagnose you because I'm not a psychiatrist, but there is clearly something wrong and I doubt very much that scrapbooking will help! You are entitled to ask for a second opinion. Failing that ...

There are some good self harm support boards, specific to the UK such as here Mental Health Forums UK I SH but I am not sure how many other people here do so. I agree it is difficult to find people who can understand. The only thing I would say is that most SH support forums do not allow you to disc...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand the anger. My friend died in 2011 from lung cancer, again completely preventable. I was so angry with him for being so stupid and smoking and I blamed him for dying,, and I blamed myself for not making him stop (even though it would probably have been too lat...

Could it be anxiety? It might be that in the past she just tried things but now she is a little older and aware that she is 'different' perhaps she has lost confidence, or is more worried about making a mistake and getting a situation wrong. Perhaps you could ask her what she is worried about when s...

I know a little about both. Here is the DSM criteria for Anti-Social Personality Disorder. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fourth edition (DSM IV-TR), defines antisocial personality disorder (in Axis II Cluster B) as:[1] A) There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and...

I can understand why you are angry and upset. That was a nasty, childish thing for that man to say. It is disrespectful for him to talk about his wife in that way. I think you did the right thing by extricating yourself from the situation and then trying to discuss it with your boyfriend privately. ...

Yes I used to wander off. I got lost so many times as a child, especially in departments stores. I did once wander out of the house at 5am, but a nice adult found me and returned me. My poor Mother, no wonder she went grey so early!

Wow, I used to sleep on the floor when I was younger (up until my teens) even though I had a bed. I thought I was the only one! I think I'd find it uncomfortable now, but at the time I preferred it. I felt safer on the floor than in bed, for some reason.

You need new friends. People addicted to meth only care about meth, not about you. You would be better off with no friends than friends like these. Being friends with these people will also put other, nicer folk off being your friend. They will look at you and presume you are just like your friends....

It's good that they are assessing you, it can take some time for doctors to make a diagnosis. If you can manage as you are until you see your psychiatrist then that would be ideal but if you become very distressed or feel urges to harm yourself or someone else then you should definitely go to the Em...

I'm sure you won't get banned for discussing your delusions. The things you say you believe certainly sound delusional. I think the most sensible thing to do would be to sit down with someone you trust and talk about the things you think about and believe and ask them to make suggestions about which...

Can you describe what is happening a little more clearly? Delusional people often do not realise they are delusional - for example they may firmly believe in things that are not true or are impossible and will not be swayed from this belief. What beliefs do you have that you think may be delusional ...
