Hey Mindslave, thanks. I don't usually think about marriage that early on in a relationship... but I'm glad to know that someone else can understand his point of view. That helps.

I'll leave it alone for now and quit thinking about it.

Boo, this is moving on for me... I am trying to get some closure, not trying to win him back... Sorry for not being so heartless that I can't forget about him right away? Anyways, I agree that something is not quite right... He may have been entirely selfish and if so then good riddance I guess...

Way to state the obvious? The thing is that he was this sweet man when we met, calling me beautiful and the most attractive woman at the party. He even gave me flowers at some point. But things changed drastically and I don't know why... Well he also showed remorse over differences in our sex drives...

YippySkippy, I agree! I didn't even bring up marriage. He says that he was thinking about it a month ago when his friend brought it up. That was when he started deciding that he does not want to marry me... I don't understand because I've been in longer relationships before that word was even mentio...

Hi all, Wow it's been a while since I've last been on this forum. I've stopped going on here since I found out that my Asperger's diagnosis was likely a misdiagnosis and I started treating my correct diagnosis. Anyways, the knowledge of this wonderful community hasn't gone to waste. I had recently s...

Well, it's like friendships are different kinds of clothing. You have the sturdy, comfy ones that last years, you have the shimmery, cheap ones that last a couple of wears, and everything in between. So some people like variety with their friendships and that's why they make friends with people who ...

So my two cents: these people are the kind of people who tease and talk about others behind their backs. I agree with cakey about how one friend probably wants to continue to hang out with you despite her nasty other friends. Also, I realise that people come from different walks of life. Sometimes w...

I an relate to your situation, namaste, though mine is a bit less extreme. I still talk to my mother so that I can keep in contact with my little sister, who still lives at home. But I had limited what I say to her to prevent her from sending me into an emotional turmoil. Recently, I've had a bit of...

I'm not diagnosed with ADHD yet, so I'm not on meds. But exercise helps. My good days are the days when I exercise. Moving around does help. Nowadays I'm medicating with music and coffee. Caffeine, while exacerbating my anxiety, helps me focus. Music does everything for me as far as healing - it's ...

This happens to me, but in an inconsistent way. I'm sure that it does get my other coworkers peeved. So then I pick up on that and start to change my behaviour, but by then it's a bit too late. In my case, I just get too distracted by everything else that I should be doing that I don't realise anyth...

I think it sounds more like AS than ADHD because of the social aspects. The ADHD people I know are often hypersocial, having hundreds of friends and being able to BS with them all day long, constantly on their cell phones, etc. Though hyperactivity can cause someone with ADHD to be very chatty, it'...

I try to do this too. But it's as if the less interested I am, the more charming he becomes. And then I collapse.
