without flaws we would all be boring and the same.

flaws are what make us who we are. along with our strong points too though.

yin and yang.

my girlfriend is not perfect by any means, but I love her more because of this.

You can always ask him out for coffee.

It's not too direct and will probably get the message across.

You don't sound Canadian.

But some Aspies do tend to get lisps or speech impediments along with their Asperger's.

I wouldn't worry about it and just focus on awesome stuff.

If it really bothers you, you can always go to a speech/language therapist.

I would see a marriage counsellor as suggested. Perhaps you need to convey how you feel to her so she can adjust her own actions and mindset accordingly :)

Sex isn't important. Love is.

This society is obsessed with sex. Sure some guy may be able to go out and get laid, but what does that really mean? Pleasure for a night? C'mon. There are better things in life. Like money.

You should try telling her what you just told us.

Also, do you got to therapy or counselling? That could help you out greatly.

Good luck, and remember that honest communication is key to a healthy relationship.

Lets be honest, its what most of the people in that situation come here to. Then theres the ones who you give advice to and act like dicks. And the ones who refuse advice because theyre perfect and its the women that need to change

This is wisdom here. I find it funny how accurate this is.

I lost it when I was around 12 with my right hand. :jester:

Oh, women?

Plenty Of Fish. Met a girl. Liked her. A lot. Decided to "give" myself to her. Sometimes I regret it, but I quickly realise that I'm happy it was her. :sunny:

I like where this post has gone but it has strayed a little from the original topic at hand.

Valentine, I am impressed with your knowledge on the subject of nutrition.

Have you heard about the Paleo Diet/Solution?

She probably doesn't know what to say. I wouldn't fault her for it. You can always try the "I would appreciate you saying thank you after you receive a gift to acknowledge it" in a nice tone.

Advice in here is golden. He obviously likes you a lot. You like him. He just seems to have gotten overwhelmed :)

Give him time and he will come around.

I wish you two the best :D

I would say depending on the type of woman she is, it could go well.

If she snoops and pries into your business, maybe not.

But if she is caring, understanding and respects your privacy, I don't see why not :)

Take your time though. Don't jump into this next step of the relationship. Walk.

Why not date?

You don't have to have sex. Just establish your boundaries. I think getting out and watching a movie or something would be healthy for you.
