Some timers are probably necessary in a sense of adding intensity to a situation like a collapsing building. Oh and FYI... The Simpsons: Hit and Run gets a lot more tedious and annoying when it comes to the last mission on the last level... Car is hardly controllable, can't crash into walls or cars...
