1 applies to me. Also the one about logical thinking. I also notice details with stuff that others seem to fail to notice. It can be really irritating sometimes when others fail to apply logic to a situation and won't listen to my advice....Then they finally figure out I was right

I'm happy you feel this way, but you have so many diverse talents and that makes it extremely difficult to believe that your condition as very severe. I have no such talents, almost no friends, and people ostracize me like I'm some kind of freak. What a great Fn gift I have!

Maybe. I always sucked at sports and was slow to learn pretty much everything. But I've done jiu jitsu for a while now and have become quite talented. It took me a while to learn, but I can handle myself quite well now.

I probably do have slow processing speed. With verbal instruction, it may take several repeats for me to fully understand what's going on.

I have that problem. I wish everyone would just give me written instructions because I can process them SO much better!

I don't know if its the processing, but my attention span is terrible. But it was also suggested that I have NVLD. I just don't go to lectures unless they make me. If they do , I usually just sign in and than play with my phone the whole time. I process written information much better and since most...

Does anyone here with AS have times when they think slowly, and can't get their head around much? My thoughts get scrambled sometimes, and I don't think so well then. Often when something's on my mind or the situation is chaotic. I've been feeling like that for most of today for some reason. That's...

Thanks you guys. I've found out where I can get free legal advice. I guess I've been kind of scared, especially since I'm unemployed and she does not make much money either. But I agree, I'd rather have nothing than live this way. I also think I will have more motivation to learn how to support myse...

Basically have been married for 10 years but have been miserable for the last 6 or seven. My wife is NT but severely bi polar. She throws violent temper tantrums in which she throws stuff at me and hits me with objects when I say something she doesn't like. She constantly nags me and tells me the sa...

IDK. I think Japan is a much safer country for children than the U.S.. Their child abuse laws might not be exactly as ours are but that doesn't mean one can liteterally get away with molesting children as people seem to believe. And believe me, from what I've heard about Japanese prisons, one wouldn...

The root cause of a lot of our problems is the complete lack of trust the the government-cooperate establishment. You could argue that the "tea party" or the "gun nut" "answer" is wrong and depending on the issue I might agree with you but the "paranoia "is justified. Just look at the NSA and relat...
