I'm on here for learning about my daughter. She walks on her toes if she is barefoot. She hardly ever wears socks. I think she walks normally in shoes. She is 18 years old. I have concerns that it is not good for her legs and feet to walk that way because she says she has pain in the balls of her fe...

Thank you all. Please continue to put forth your ideas if you wish. My daughter can join this if she wishes but I kind of think she won't want to. I used to think she had Non-Verbal learning disorder but she had a few things that didn't quite jive, and it may be that, or it may be high-functioning a...

I'm not against her being a computer "geek". I'm just saying that's all she does. She has no interest in doing chores or getting exercise. We had a long talk a while ago today and she said she is tired of being a human guinea pig (that's how she put it) because of my wanting to have her be diagnosed...

I used to think my daughter had it but I wasn't sure if it was that or pdd-nos. She is a very good talker but she used to have language problems when she was little. They said she had pdd-nos but now her new psych. says she doesn't. So maybe she does have nvld.

I just posted "mystery disorder(s). I wanted to ask this question too. When my daughter was little she used to ask what things were saying, like if I said the pop bottle tipped over, she would ask, "What is it saying? It annoyed me. She grew out of it. Then we were at my sister in law's recently and...

I'm new on here but my daughter has pdd. She is sort of a mystery and I have no one to talk to who cares or understands. Most people don't understand about asd's especially older people who I mostly know. I'm 47 and my daughter is an older teen. Some history: She was diagnosed with pdd-nos at age 12...
