I was given Zoloft to take at 25mg once a day for general anxiety. its the first day so I have only taken one so far, I unfortunately could not help the urge to look at the side effects, so now I am terrified of vomiting with them, has anyone been ill in that way on Zoloft. I read it causes nausea w...

I had no suspicion of being autistic before being diagnosed, diagnosis was proposed by other people because they saw me struggeling a lot and being out of synch with many aspects of "normal life", but I was too much into myself to even realize it. Sometimes I regret the gained consciousne...

I know, my thoughts are my worst enemy, I don't consciously think things but I know that's the reason, I am trying to just forget I was diagnosed, I know logically it make no difference, people don't magically change because of a label. I am just lacking overall confidence, university fell through a...

yeah I know what you mean, I spend a year and a half suspecting Asperger's, and I somehow thought knowing would help me in a practical way, in terms of getting a job etc. instead I still feel as if I can't do things, but now that's gotten worse. I was so sure I had it and so sure that knowing would ...

I am happy to be diagnosed, I wanted to know for ages and now I do. but I now feel a lot more awkward with people and I just feel more unhappy and I don't want to be with people as much. I am thinking that my knowledge that I have Asperger's, is making me self conscious, more aware or I am thinking ...

yes mine are, a lot of the time actually, if allowed I can just sit in one place with my obsession all day, for example I am currently doing an online course, and the ability to concentrate on it has lessened since my new obsession came along, which is very strong this time, so its a hindrance, but ...

do you ever just wake up feeling particularly highly strung and tense for no good reason, and then it lasts all day and goes away the next day. I have this today, it happens quite a bit, I cant work out what sets it off, but my stomach always feels funny and I feel frozen with some kind of forebodin...

Apart from my immediate family no one else in my family really cares that much, which suites me fine. As for my immediate family, it took about a year to convince them that I had it and getting a diagnosis was necessary, but after that they accepted it well enough and said it explained an awful lot....

most of the time I don't really recognise or think I am lonely, then I have episodes of lonliness, they never last long though.

I sometimes wonder whether I just feel I should be lonely because most people like seeing friends and want to go out. its hard to tell

As I was diagnosed just this week I can say so far its been helpful, I spent a long time going up and down in terms of thinking I was imagining my issues to thinking they were valid, it was stressful, now I can say with certainty that my problems are because of Asperger's syndrome, that is nice to b...
