Well if Tennant's Doctor died and regenerated into another Tennant in Journey's End that means Tennant One died gawping at his girlfriend when he should have been watching the road for Daleks.

Not quite as bad as falling over and banging his head like Colin Baker but hardly a noble sacrifice.

Nick Hurran has to be the best director this show has ever had. I can't wait to see what he does on Sherlock.

Interesting interview with David Nielson who plays Roy Cropper. He was originally meant to be a psychopath but Neilson's wife persuaded his to play the character as an Aspie: http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/coronation-street-i-secretly-made-roy-427471 David, who arrived in Weatherfield in...

Anything featuring 'dwarves' has been influenced by Tolkien.

The plural of 'dwarf' is 'dwarfs': Tolkien changed the spelling.

There's a lot of Lord of the Rings in both - and Tolkien drew on King Arthur and Grendel.

Dumbledore = Obi Wan = Gandalf = Merlin.

I suspect the whole Star Trek reboot was a Terminator-like plot to prevent the birth of Weasel Crusher.

The destruction of the planet Vulcan was acceptable collateral damage.

There's a line in This Island Earth where someone 'explains' how the cat got it's name:

'We call him Neutron because he's always so positive'

Wrong, on so many levels!

I just go to the store and buy 3-packs of colored t-shirts with pockets. When getting dressed, I just grab the next t-shirt in the pile regardless of its color. All my socks are identical black ones and I wear the same kind of shirt and trousers at work every day: I have to wear a shirt and trouser...

When was the last time you heard a neurotypical say 'Hey, I watched this TV show last night and there was this supposedly NT guy in it but he didn't like sport or gossip and I was so offended because why don't writers do their reasearch?' There are no characteristic traits which all NTs share and th...

My favourite Doctor Who writer of all time was Robert Holmes and at one time he was in the police.

I bet he got called 'Sherlock' sometimes.

Many aspies are excruciatingly rules oriented , that includes rules of propriety. So yes, it can be distressing, often because we don't understand when and how it is OK to break the societal rules. NTs instinctively have a good grasp on life's 'artistic license' . Does that make us prudes? Pretty m...
