I love thunderstorms. I love it when the rain's pounding on the roof and the windows are rattling in the wind; it's like suddenly the world belongs to something not quite human...

Sometimes. I never seem to take everything in in one go, but if I look at a scene for a minute or so, I'll remember it forever.

It's not about AS, but there's an old Lightening Seeds song . . . lyrics are something like:

You don't know what to do/So do anything you like/You're never gonna be like all those fools/Don't ever change

The chorus of Got Me Wrong by Alice in Chains usually makes me smirk, too.

Scottish-English, also some French. I like to get drunk and attack myself :) EDIT: Because I'm obsessed with nations and borders... Britain is the island between Ireland and the European mainland. The UK is all of Britain plus a part of Ireland. Scotland is the northern part of Britain. England is t...

Hi Nagy,

Truly sorry to hear about all your troubles, but all things must pass; I hope you will find peace now that you have an explanation for your mind working the way that it does :)

Self-diagnosed, also "tagged" by teachers and parents from about age five. A diagnosis isn't important to me, though on the advice of the local aspie group I'll get one if I can.

I'm the same way when I snap, but there were two times when I actually threw something in attempt to hit someone while I'm still in the same room with that person. I missed everytime though. Eeep :) Were you able to explain afterwards? Most people who've seen me flip have been pretty cool abo...

I don't think violence like this is an AS thing. When people snap, anything can happen; often it's someone who's been screwed around for most of their life just not knowing their own strength. I don't condone people doing serious physical harm to those who've been bullying them, but I don't find it ...

It was split from a discussion about whether members found recreational drugs heightened or deadened their traits/stimming/social skills. I think.
