I get compared to Sheldon Cooper on occasion, but I've resented it since I've never really enjoyed "The Big Bang Theory". I feel that comparison is too extreme or exaggerated, playing up some aspects of Asperger's while minimizing others. |

I think one reason why marriages fail is because those involved don't take them seriously to begin with. If you think marriage is "just a piece of paper", you probably shouldn't be getting married. The vows taken are solemn promises, only to be broken by death or in very extreme situations... |

I have remained in love with the same woman for sixteen years...but we haven't spoken face-to-face in 11 of those years. We did chat briefly on Facebook, maybe 4 years ago...but now I can't find her. People have often told me to "just let go"...but hearing that just ticks me off. Why is it... |

Physically and mentally, it was incredible. Emotionally and spiritually, I was a train wreck. Looking back after 14 years, there's times I really wish I'd waited. Its really tough to miss something you've never had. |

Thanks to you both; I miss my Mom every day, but I've forgotten so much about her in the last month, its scary. I was raised in a Christian home, and I do believe Jesus is Lord...but whenever people say Mom's at peace, all I've been able to say is "I hope so". There's an emptiness in the c... |

Hey, everybody. My mother passed away on March 24th, so the last month has been a tough one for me. I've had lots of support from semi-close friends and extended family, but I still feel trapped in an emotional nightmare, desperate to wake up. The days have become really depressing, and I'm not sure... |

I could never stand that game. "Ocarina of Time" is a classic, but "Majora's Mask" was frustrating. Reliving the same 3 days over and over, constantly running out of time before you even get one new task accomplished...just, no. I gave up after a couple of tries, and didn't reall... |

I am all in favor of women making the first move, because it saves me (and most men) a ton of grief. For some odd reason, we're expected to be the initiators in almost every area of life...including relationships. But in all honesty, I'm tired of the games. I've only been in one relationship, but it... |

I was 20, and it was a very tough occurrence for me to process. I was elated, but also wildly conflicted due to the circumstances. Sadly, that trend continued through my whole relationship with that woman, and to this day, I wish it would've happened so much better. |

I would probably stand there in shock for a few moments, then politely refuse as best I could. Sex isn't something I treat casually. |

No, it would freak me out. By the same token, I wouldn't want to date or marry anyone, with the same name as a close relative. |

I was bullied like crazy as a kid, and to this day, I'm not entirely sure why. I kept to myself around most people in school, but my family never believed it because I was a chatterbox around them. There were so many days, especially in my teens, where I'd literally be running home from the school's... |

I've been thinking of joining a dating site, but I wouldn't feel comfortable taking every "match" out in person. I'm looking for someone to share my heart and my life; that's never something to be treated casually. |

I think ultimatums should only be used as an absolute last resort. Also, both people should be very careful when even suggesting one, because raw emotions will interfere like crazy.
Just remember, fellow men: Women are like elephants. They never forget. |

Here's a novel idea: why not just ask your date if you can kiss them? I don't mean blurting it out like a maniac, but a quiet whisper in their ear would be a good start. The worst they can do is say "no", after all... |
