I was never able to wear tampons and for years I wondered what the hell was wrong with me but a few years after I started my periods I had a colonoscopy which they couldn't finish due to hypersensitivity, They put it down to being connected to the Crohn's Disease that I had but I'm just generally hy...

How old are you? As I got older, I found this feeling lessened. I'm 28 and it's gone through spells when I've been less likely to compare myself but unfortunately, last year was pretty tough for me for many reasons and it seemed to me like all I was seeing was people being able to do the things I c...

I'm not really all that keen on having my hair down, particularly when it's hot or wet. People ask me why I don't just have it cut short but I can't stand short hair either.

A couple of people made comments like 'I thought that only boys got that' but I don't ever remember anyone telling me that they'd never have guessed which perhaps suggested to me that the very few people I would call friends perhaps knew that I wasn't quite like a lot of other people they knew. Ther...

I went through a spell of I preferring boys clothes and wanted to be good at sports like boys were. Unfortunately I have poor co-ordination and balance and came last in EVERY race I ever did. I had no interest in having my hair done or my nails painted like other girls and I've never really been abl...

I got mine at age 11. May 10, 1991. I'm not the only one who can remember the exact date then? I got mine at 12 years and 7 months. It was 25th November 1998. I wasn't ready to grow up and I literally fell to pieces with it. I missed about three days of school because I just wouldn't stop crying.

Always! I look at posts on Facebook, Twitter and I'm always comparing myself to others and ending up as the one who is inferior. These people are more popular than I am, prettier, have a better job, more talented, did better at school. My solution, i thought would be to cut these people out of...

With the exception of my mum and sister, I pretty much hate being hugged or touched. It's worse with men but I'll pretty much jump out of my skin or I'll go as stiff as a board when I'm hugged by anyone else. I think that NT women seem to be more into hugging their friends now than they used to and ...

I can understand how you feel because I have just received a reminder for my next test and I'm contemplating not going in light of my experiences in the past. I was supposed to have my first one about three years ago and it caused me so much pain that they couldn't complete the test. I later spoke t...

I was only diagnosed with Aspergers last year so I'm probably still getting used to the idea that there is a reason why I'm a little bit different but regardless of when I was diagnosed, I've always known I was and I hate it. I've tried to be 'normal' to fit in and have pretty much failed there and ...

I'm not great with physical contact but I tend to be worse with contact from men. I've not been abused or anything and I've never really understood why I'm like this. I've been to a couple of Meet and Greets with my favourite singer and this issue I have with physical contact has made things a littl...

I am kind of asexual so I don't know if my vote counts. I voted no. But not sexually speaking, aesthetically speaking. I wondered if my vote would count as I'm asexual too. I don't really pay much attention to how a man looks unless he's got really bad teeth and then it really annoys me. I voted no...

If the straps are tight, then you may be wearing the wrong size. Have you been professionally fitted ? You may want to try that. For the cost of some $$$, your neck and shoulders and back will thank you forever. I was professionally fitted about ten years ago and my weight has changed a lot since t...

I am 32G (UK) and as much as I'd like to go without wearing a bra sometimes I find it far too uncomfortable. I also find it to be a nightmare to find comfortable bras that don't break the bank and also don't look completely hideous. Just lately I've had a lot of problems with my back and shoulders a...

As a teenager I used to hope that eventually I'd have a relationship but it just didn't happen and now I look back, that's a good thing because I wasn't the right kind of person for those kind of relationships. I'm funny with physical contact, I hated my first kiss and the idea of sex freaked me out...

I'm now 28 and most people think that I'm about five years younger than I actually am. At the moment I don't mind that and am almost flattered if I get ID'd when buying alcohol. Last year I was with a friend in a bar and she's a good few years younger than me and she was most annoyed that I was ID'd...
