It's disappointing to feel no enthusiasm for anything. It affects everything I do, as I'm effectively half-present at any given time and have no real interest in most things and nothing can really please me or upset me, I'm so apathetic.

"Pre-sex discussion" is a novel concept? It's nice to see dissent on this. If you find this interesting, you might also like Ariel Levy's Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture.

Perhaps you can go to an urban school? New York, for instance, there's no shortages of schools, people come to class and immediately leave, and no one particularly wants to know who you are. If you prefer to be left alone, that'll do. It does no good to avoid this, anyway. You're nineteen and bad at...

Poll, here: do you have many dreams or aspirations for the future? I read in Attwood's latest book that lack of competitiveness and ambition are seen in those with ASDs, but that's all I can remember being said on this... Myself, I've only briefly had that sense of ''yeah, bright days ahead, let's d...

I'm looking for college-aged or above (I'm the former) people to talk with; I enjoy reading literature and social science or historical non-fiction, and listening to jazz. I'm in New York City, and knowing someone local would be even better. Please contact me via PM.
