I drifted away from NIN after TDS, but I saw their concert last spring on satellite and then went out and bought With Teeth. It fit my mental state at the time, as I'd just been diagnosed with AS a few months before and was going through some heavy "adjusting." Only, The Line Begins to Blur, Right W...

The flip side of the situation is that most people who wind up in these "depressing" jobs may already be pre-disposed to depression for any number of reasons. Many people who work in elder or child care, food service, or artistic fields have histories of drug abuse, criminal activity, lack of higher...

All I can make out is "song dedicated to Sophie." He mumbles a lot, and the audio is bad. Sorry. I'm working on getting a full clip of the song, with hopefully better audio.

For Vines fans who cared about Sophie... I asked someone to ask someone to ask Craig Nicholls if he'd dedicate Spaceship to Sophie at their Sydney gig last night. He did. This thread is for positive comments only about Sophie and/or Craig and the Vines. It's at about -.33 here, right after Highly Ev...

Yeah, I was really shocked and sad when he died, because I didn't really understand this disease and I thought they'd at least be able to keep him alive until a donor was found. Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I know I wasn't a close relative, but his passing has affected my family...

Lexapro is great stuff, although I use it for OCD and depression. It took it for six months a few years ago, and it worked permanent wonders with my social anxiety - it never returned. The only drawback is that it also flattened my mood permanently, and I'm not happy about that. I feel too "level" ...

I think some people fake having Asperger's as an excuse for their behavior, or because they want to feel special because of labeling themselves as something that's different from the norm. That's not to put down people who honestly believe they have Asperger's but don't have an official diagnosis -...

You sound so much like me that it's funny! I tend to think a lot of events in my past were much more comic than tragic, and apparently that's not the "normal" way for females to react. I was never able to develop a "poor me" attitude, nor can I tolerate it in anyone else. Your counselor doesn't soun...

Has anyone tried looking at this at the same time with another person, to verify whether two different people perceive the dancer as going in opposite directions at the same time? I watched her earlier today and only saw her go clockwise - I couldn't make her switch directions. Then my husband &...
