My current signature is from "Mad" magazine, and is a quote from the spoof of the newest "Superman" movie.

I just had it happen while i was reading a book I'd never read before. I suddenly got the strongest impression that I had read that particular paragraph somewhere, in the past.

In my endless crusade to win friends, I regularly get put off by people who, if I disclose to them, eagerly respond, "I get like that!" or worse, "I think I may have that!" The trouble is, these people are pretty obviously not even close to being on the spectrum. I find it invalidating. Has anyone e...

I can relate. That situation sounds crazy making. I think the advice that I see given here, by the others, is valid. Whether this guy was inflated with his own importance, or whether he was indeed cranking you, or whatever, he needs to be reported, ad verbatim. What he said sounded so stupid and and...

I like to go barefoot in the summer months. As a result, my feet look older than me, and have gotten really tough soles. When it gets cold, however, I can't stand interacting with the cold floor. Then, it's time for socks and those things with the non-skid portions on the bottom.

My mother, I'm sure, was an Aspie. I am also positive that I have at least three siblings on the spectrum. My mother would periodically retreat to her bedroom and lock the door when us kids got to be too much. As an adult, I finally understand why she did this. She also showed poor judgement with ta...

I loved your article. I thought of some uses for things like homosexuality. This might help with population control. And I agree with what you said about laziness or giving up too easily. Some things that aspies are accused of, are being anti-social. In this case, we may be conserving input so as to...
