I think they need to start looking at most people who are on drugs today for anxiety or depression, I have a feeling quite a few have not been properly diagnosed.

I've been told I do...I honestly don't care. I think people need to stop telling others what to do. I have to put up with all kinds of religious posts, I put up with it. I have to put up with people showing off their latest whatever it is they bought, I don't care, I put up with it. I have to put up...

I am sorry this happened to you. Let me tell you that I ran into this in the company I worked for over 20 years. It never failed that I would come up with a new way of doing things, etc. and all of a sudden someone else was given that "duty" and they paraded the new process, etc. as THEIR ...

I think so. Just a few weeks ago, I was on a cruise and a couple of guys walked into the elevator. They didn't really look our way, but said hi and started talking. Yes, many on cruises do it, but there was something about them that made me feel that indeed they were on the spectrum. I think it was ...

There is a new "link" to autism nearly everyday it seems. Usually I post those in the news section, but for whatever reason this study is getting massive media coverage so you might be asked about it. Taking Antidepressants While Pregnant Linked to Increased Autism Risk - NBC Video I wond...

I've done a lot of research on Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Psychopaths, Anti-Social Personality disorders, etc. and from what I have read it seems that as most things, there is a genetic component. A component to where if either of your parents had such a condition, you could possibly have starte...

I know what you mean, but I'm not sure that I agree that someone who does such a thing is past PTSD. I did read some time ago, while reading Toxic Parents and similar books that we will always react negatively to those things which caused us pain when we were children until we are able to overcome t...

I just came back from a cruise and David Naster was the comedian on board. He is a great comic, but more importantly he helps those who are struggling in life, whether medical conditions, depression, PTSD, bullying, etc. to laugh. After the first regular comedy show, he had a couple of follow-ups an...

Oh my, I am so very sorry you were treated this way...please understand that abuse is NOT about you, but about HER. It says absolutely NOTHING about who you are, it says a lot about who SHE IS. I can relate to many things, although not all. I can only say that just as everyone else has stated, you M...

I just wanted to say you sound like a great parent. Thanks! PS I owe most of what I do for my kiddo and his friends to this amazing wrongplanet community which I was lucky enough to find early on after my son's diagnosis...it truly helped me put the breaks on what all the experts told me my son nee...
