People spend a lot more money on firearms, ammunition and related accessories when they fear they're about to lose the right to collect them. Its economic manipulation at its core in my opinion. The idea that there will be extreme limits on gun rights in the near future is very profitable to manufa...

As for that troll comment: you mad?

So, you don't like statements that you think suggest trolling on your part, so you respond by: trolling... I think I see the problem here.

I'm mocking the stupidity of that statement to begin with

Question for people for gun control: Why do you believe gun free zones are safe? It only takes one bad person to spoil the broth. So what does gun control accomplish? The bad guys will always find a way to sneak them. It doesn't sound safe to me, I just want a sensible system of regulation, licensi...

Actually - you asked me to prove it, and I agreed to do so. I don't currently have the necessary equipment to prove my statement - so you'll have your proof when I am able to produce it. Please don't, I don't want you to go on a killing spree, man! No one here is arguing that 3 is less than 30 - wh...

You guys really need to deal with the Tea Party The Tea Party isn't the problem...they never were. The established parties (Republicans and Democrats) want to blame them for doing what they were elected to do...put some sanity back into government spending. Tea Party... sane.. What in the hell alte...

The troll card consistently gets played whenever either guns or Ron Paul are mentioned in anything other than a fully adulatory light.

How could anybody possibly have anything bad to say about guns and Rand Paul

That wasn't aimed at you. I'm thinking along the lines of those idiots who forced Starbuck's hand by parading guns around the coffee shops. That was stupid, if well intended. The idea's been kicking around for a long time that most people don't realize how many normal people carry guns every day be...

Your answer was anything but clear - which is why I gave you an answer for the specific question you asked, as well as the question that was actually the target of this discussion. I'm not going to play your games. This is BS, the one playing games is you. I asked you a question referring to a stat...

If we're talking about single mags, then the answer is obvious. But if we're talking about 10 3 round mags vs one 30 round mag, the difference is negligible.

My question was extremely clear so I don't know why you can't just give me a straight answer

Prove it Actually, you're the one putting forward a claim, that magazine limits would have some positive effect, so that would put the onus on you to prove that they're effective. Got some before and after data from a country that imposed such limits and saw a positive effect? Because questions are...

"Gun right" activists are also f***ing annoying Trolls too. Personally though, I'll settle for less annoying than anti-gun people; we're more the hedgehog type, completely harmless unless attacked. That wasn't aimed at you. I'm thinking along the lines of those idiots who forced Starbuck's hand by ...

Fine by me - I'll even buy a 30 round mag for my XD to do it.

FYI - I don't know of any 3 round mags for pistols - but I can load a bunch of mags with 3 rounds each.

It was you who brought up that particular number. But that doesn't answer my question.

You don't need to load cartridges one at a time, a revolver can have a speed loader. But I'll bite. Using a semi auto handgun and emptying a 3 round magazine (like one of your suggestions) vs a 30 round magazine. Which one puts more lead into the air more quickly?

That's not evidence, that's you unloading your gun in a controlled environment. To claim that a 30 round magazine would not drop any more bodies than say a 6 shot revolver is absurd
