Thanks :) Yeah, light sensitivity does suck. I wish there was a way I could turn off the lights at work, unfortunately I'm in a cubicle. Some other things, I constantly wring my hands, press/pinch my finger tips, and when I stand and talk to someone I have to have my arms crossed. Also I have very l...

Ok, thanks everyone...I'll have to give it some more thought then. Maybe I'll talk to my union rep first and see what they think. I believe my boss has to keep medical info secret, that's the main thing I'm worried about. He is very nice but I can tell some of what I say/do makes him uncomfortable. ...

I'm curious if people here believe telling one's boss/management about an AS diagnosis is proper, or if it's better to keep that to yourself? Presumably they know something's different, but is it better to let them guess or give them a label?

Okay, thanks. I'm just curious because I know one 60 yr old guy I work with definitely has Aspergers, eats the same thing everyday, has lots of knowledge on very specific topics, has issues with staring and social cues, etc. These are things that I've picked up on, and I know I'm not as bad as him. ...

I'm curious if its the experience of those here that girls with Aspergers tend to have more mild symptoms than boys? I read online that this is true, but I wanted to know the experience of those on here. Also, is it true that symptoms can become more mild over time so that an Aspergers child might n...

I am curious, is bladder control issues another Aspie sign? I had issues with bed-wetting when I was little, along with general issues of knowing when I had to go. I generally didn't realize until it was too late. Fourth grade was the worst because it was the first year they didn't force us to go be...

thanks everyone :) I just heard back from the doctor and I think I'm going to set up a diagnostic appointment for next week. Only thing is he doesn't take insurance :( Oh well, I feel like I need to know whether I have Aspergers or if I just have Social Anxiety. Right now I think it's SA caused by A...

Hello, I'm a 25 yr-old female, and I think I have aspergers. I've felt this way for a while now. I don't know if all of these are true indicators of Aspergers, so bare with me if they aren't. Sorry this is such a long post, but I'm waiting to see a therapist, and I admit I'm a little anxious to see ...
